Looks like most restrictions are starting to be relaxed here over the next few weeks, vaccine passes and QR code scanning no longer mandatory, masks still required for now at least but might not be for long. Starting to get to the point where I know a few people here who have it, which I haven't up to now. Protestors and anti-vaxxers of course claiming the end of restrictions is because of them which is annoying but at least they'll fuck off and stop clogging up the city centre with protests and go back to...complaining about something else probably.

Jammed with a mate tonight for this guitars first proper test run, its so good, I'm smitten. We mostly play Metallica songs which you wouldn't expect to be this guitars forte but theres something going on with the tone control, with high gain, rolling it all the way off makes it sound like a humbucker equipped guitar and I do not understand it. Rather than that wooly sound, it just loses the trebly harshness of a single coil + high gain without losing any definition and it sounds fucking brilliant.

I'm surprised to find that I might not have to do some mods I had in mind as well, I was thinking about a pickup swap before I'd even bought it as I typically dont like three single coils but on the bridge pickup, with the tone all the way up it actually sounds incredible with shit loads of gain.
