  1. Aye the country is fucked but we may as well get some satisfaction out of not having been conned by a pack of traitors because we were too insecure to admit to ourselves that we didn't know as much as experts in certain fields.
  2. The amount of vindication we're going to get about Brexit over the years man
  3. Barcunderland with a chance to really show off tonight. I'm expecting 80:20 possession and and 30 shots on goal based on what we've been hearing.
  4. We figured that the whole run in wasn't enough of an ordeal as it was, and that this would be a good way to make it even more stressful.
  5. Right at the end though it sounds like he might actually be thinking we'd be better off in the EU again. I think at the point in time where Nigel Fucking Farage is thinking we might be better off rejoining, you know the country is fucked.
  6. Am confused here mind, Renton just said we only need 6 points and he's right. We can lose to Brighton and still be mathematically uncatchable for Liverpool as long as we beat Leicester and Chelsea. They could beat Southampton 20-0 and it wouldn't matter because that point against Leeds was actually useful. I do ultimately think we'd all feel a lot better if we just won this fking game on Thursday though.
  7. I agree but the only reason it'll feel worrying if we lose to Brighton is that it happens before the other two. We don't need to win that game, it's arguably the toughest match remaining for us. We can get by with beating Chelsea and Leicester. It's a shame we don't have Leicester on Thursday tbh because getting the 3 points there would relax everyone about playing Brighton. As it is, I can see us stumbling on Thursday and then cruising the final two games just to freak everyone out
  8. Fuck sake lads, we just need to win 2 of our remaining 3 games Definitely not beyond this team. You'd think it was Liverpool who had the advantage reading this.
  9. The only way Leicester win today is if the universe has already scripted them beating us in a few days time I'm going to give it a miss and assume Liverpool got the points.
  10. The day it's ever that easy for NUFC, is the day I'll believe we've actually made it
  11. Constituency Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale MP David Mundell (Conservative)
  12. Given that I'm still sat in a Tory constituency, I suspect that my vote going to the LDs would be best for everyone anyway.
  13. PR not in the mix for the manifesto apparently, so that's me out as far as Labour are concerned. Suppose I have to at least credit him with being honest about that and not stringing it out.
  14. If only he'd give them something to vote for.
  15. Am going Gemmill, we need sheer confidence and force of will at this point, whether based in reality or not
  16. Yeah Villa are already out of it..
  17. Assuming we needed to win our two home games and get a point on the road, we've managed the latter. Could have been worse, nothing to panic about yet. The only concern I suppose is that we're looking a bit shaken in general - that needs sorting out.
  18. If we win this, IMO we're fine for CL - the players will have shown the mental toughness to bounce back and sustain our push without wilting under the pressure. If we don't, it's going to be a nervy run in. I do think we'll win though, even if it's not pretty.
  19. Sorry but when did JRM get a slot on GBNews? Does he not have a fucking full time job already?
  20. I don't disagree with this but it's worth keeping in mind that these people by and large won't believe any of that. They don't trust their institutions so why would they care if a court verdict said he was guilty? Looked at through our frame of reference, it is entirely as you say. Looked at through theirs, "the man" is trying to take down their hero with convenient lies and he keeps bouncing back up.
  21. I reckon someone could track you down based on locating the swirling cloud of enraged seagulls tbh.
  22. We get the win here and pressure dissipates as we'll be halfway there. Fail to win and it's going to be a nailbiter of an end to the season I think, as much as it'll still all be in our hands. A draw would be ok as long as we're confident we can win our two remaining home games - which we should be.
