I think the recent results have made people especially tetchy. Just to bring you up to speed through, the general consensus here is that Pardew was a charlatan and a knacker, that Carver is worse, and that Ashley is making Satan look good.

I actually suspect you have some good ideas, even though I have some misgivings about their viability. But you seem to be at odds with almost everyone in the forum currently - how does that fit in with your plan? I think you mentioned that NO had a similar reaction. Just look at the amount of activity on here, it definitely stirred people up. Normally we lose these games and barely anyone comments for the next couple of days. I've been struggling to keep up this time around. It's at least something to keep clinging on to for however long it lasts. False hope maybe, but isn't that what the vast majority of football is about?

At least there seems to be some energy about all of this currently, rather than just apathy. The real challenge is sustaining it though, as Ashley will be banking on our morale falling and on the majority of us getting back into line. We need creative ideas to keep the energy going - which is where I actually agree with that Maku guy, in principle, at least.

Agreed, this does actually look like a meaningful protest. Fair play to all involved. Hopefully it'll gather momentum and not just be a one game thing though.
