Great metaphor! Let's hope they go one better than the mackems and go into administration and liquidation. 👍

I am actually really beginning to really start feeling optimistic again (I know). It's just such a relief that the constant lies, bull shitting and gaslighting ultimately haven't worked and they are getting their comeuppance which will be fucking brutal imo. Existential maybe. Couldn't happen to a nicer set of cunts.

Still, at least the tories can rely on their core voters, people like farmers..... Oh.
-
Just listening to Starmer here. Does anyone know what his Dad did for a living?
-
All I can say is.
-
So, economy has flatlined, small boats are at record year on year levels, inflation is predicted to rise this month, national debt is up, and now this. Not looking good for Sunak's pledges.
-
Still got this on as I do other things. Sky are now fact checking the fuck out of him [Sunak] . The tory record is just indefensible, that's their main issue as well as a host of others.
-
Starmer won 64% to 36%. Sky are saying Sunak just looks broken.
-
How is cutting stamp duty good for young people btw? Doesn't it not start already until the property is worth 250k? That would buy you a street in Grimsby. .
-
Sunak's looking forward to sending his daughter's to national service. Aye, righto. They'll be on Venice beach you gimp.
-
Aye, I just caught the end of Starmer, thought he was fine if a bit boring. Sunak is fucked like. Everybody knows he's a liar, nobody is listening to him, audience hates him.
-
Sure Sunak had black hair at the start of this. It's grey now.
-
Rigby asks Sunak to tell her something that will make people like him. He answers he likes Haribos. Tit.
-
Just watching some of this Sky debate. Canny sure Starmer is trying to fillibuster the fuck out of this so he runs out of time for new questions.
-
Fucking awful. He also seems to be morphing in appearance to Ed Miliband to me.
-
This is good. I know Nick Robinson often gets accused of being a tory stooge but I don't see it. People used to say the same about Marr but you wouldn't if you listened to him on the New Statesman.
-
Who do we reckon then? Jeremy Hunt?
-
I think Barry Gardner might have said something and I just wanted him to shut the fuck up. Rise above it. Anyway, after a rare day off yesterday, looks like the nightmare for Sunak will resume again today. The more people see of him, the worse it gets.
-
Of course, I agree. But if the shoe were on the other foot, what do you think would happen and what do you think the tories would do? I'm happy for ITV to do what they want. I've listened to Brand and he said they offered him several dates but Sunak said this slot was the only one he would do - I think that is more damning. Labour should absolutely not try to make political capital out of it though, he's doing it to himself.

Winchester school costs >£50,000 per annum. He's got two sibliongs, also privately educated. Very few GPs or pharmacists could afford to send their kids there so I'd be quite interested in understanding how his parents did this through "hard work" alone, I suspect they were minted when they came over. And a sky TV subscription is going to make bot all difference. Sounds like this interview will be car crash TV. Might listen to it.
-
Ooof, just heard a clip there of Sunak apologising to Brand for being 15 minutes late because the D-day celebrations "ran over".
-
That first line is exactly what Cameron used iirc. Although he went on to say, he wanted to spread privilege to everyone, which is clearly a logical contradiction. Didn't stop thick cunts lapping it up though.
-
Wait, this is the interview he left the D day commemorations for? So, he bascially made a catastrophic electoral mistake so he he could go and do another catastrophic electoral mistake?
-
Labour haven't ruled out spending on infrastructure though. It would make sense to emabrk on a huge Keynsian revolution to boost growth, improve productivity, and make us fit for purpose in the coming decades. I'd reverse HS2 again, get the national grid sorted out, build masses of social housing and ancillary infrastructure, and stop shit flowing into rivers, all using public money. Can't see any of that spooking the markets and it would be hugely popular with the electorate. Fingers crossed they hire me as an advisor on a seven digit salary. 👍

It's utter bullshit mate, you must know that. The Labour manifesto will be one of stabilisation rather than anything exciting whereas the current tory manifesto is incoherent but will again shift wealth upwards. So listening to R5 here. They are interviewing two 18 year old kids who are voting for the first time from Warrington. Somehow, despite the overwhelming evidence from polling, they have managed to find a little tory boy and the other is "undecided".
