I remember at the time they were installing this (there's a beam that goes across the entire kitchen containing soil pipes, water pipes and electrics) thinking it would be a nightmare if one of these starts leaking. And lo and behold, that's exactly what happened 2 weeks ago. New plumber has fixed it but I'm a grand down and now have to redecorate. Tbh the house never really got finished as I just lost the energy and finance to complete it, and finally lost interest as people dying or nearly dying (including myself) took on greater importance. I've no contacts and J69 is right I'm a beta cuck, can't even hold a drill. My philosophy has always been to earn more so I can pay other people to do these jobs but that's gone a bit wrong recently as I think most plumbers are on a bigger wedge than me. That's shit. Another thing the MSM aren't interested in reporting, fiscal drag. Think I read somewhere it's equivalent to an extra 5% on PAYE this government term alone. I don't mind paying taxes to improve services but look at the state of education, NHS, law, social services, council services. What an absolute piss take this government is.

Probably right. Once ages ago, I posted on here at the time, I did the hard man stuff and broke up a group of charvers who were laying into a lad. I somehkw booted 3 of them off the train, and asked ilthe lad is he was okay. I was rewarded with a sucker punch to the nose but the daft shit was so soft I barely noticed it. But worse, he scarpered and before I knew it some older lads had seen him hit me and assumed I was guilty of something. Had to talk them down. I still can't sit on my hands though if something dodgy is happening, and it's frequent to see people racially abused or targeted cos they're easy game as you say. Don't need the stress but can't afford the parking nowadays either. I dunno like AH, if you don't see anything untoward on that route using it frequently, I find it canny amazing.
