Probably mentioned it before, but I went to Cancun on my honeymoon, in 95. Room only. Was fantastic, the city was buzzing, went out every night for food and drinks. Chichen Itza, Tulum etc, completely unspoilt too. Went back in 2010. All the hotels were AI including ours. Put all the city bars and restaurants put of business, it was a ghost town. The local attractions also over developed. Canadians and yanks sitting in the pool by the pool bar probably pissing where they sat. Even the snorkeling was shit as a hurricane had wrecked the reefs. Anyway, if you have a dream holiday, never go back is my advice.

That's more Canadians in my experience, certainly was in Cuba where there were no yanks. Not that said yanks are any better.
