  1. Toonpack's mobile is about to start pinging. Naughty boy.
  2. Again, this completely ignores the point that Starmer is actively supporting Brexit and actively stating we are out of the EU, SM, CU, and FoM forever. And that goes against mainstream opinion now and actively risks voters such as myself and Rayvin. I mean, I wouldnt feel the need to write this otherwise, its Starmer that's fucking brought the whole Brexit shit show up himself! I don't want a Brexiter as PM. And if he's lying, I don't want another liar either. He could just remain quiet and agnostic, but he's not doing that. Not to mention the utterly shit impression this must give the EU. They've told us time and time again the four freedoms are not negotiable or divisible. So Starmer is condemning the country to inevitable economic decline, because we can't prosper sandwiched between the superpowers of the EU and US. Nice one Keith, this is exactly the type of bollocks Johnson would be proud to come up with. I'm sure our EU "friends" will be impressed with this rhetoric.
  3. Starmer's current rhetoric is unnecessary. I'm not expecting to join the SM in the space of a term, but I do not expect the words Starmer has used. You're either in the SM, with FoM, or you're not. I'm fucking sick of the lying cakeism bollocks about this issue, which we're now getting from Labour as they replace the tories. And let's be honest, appeasing the morons who read the Express isn't a vote winner anyway, see below. Dunt is fooling himself here.
  4. Talking of Alistair Campbell, he's spot on here.
  5. Just seen this, from the weekend. Hold on. 60% of Daily Express readers think Brexit has been a failure, and now Starmer thinks it's a good time to tell them otherwise.
  6. I'm guessing that's from the season start too, if you did it from when Howe took over compared with previous 1 1/2 season I reckon it would be the biggest improvement since Ranieri at Leicester. I see Guardiola has won manager of the season, before the FA cup and CL finals. Surely if he loses one of these Howe is more deserving?
  7. Yeah. Just musing at this point, but if the tories somehow got a moderate candidate PM and flipped to a rejoin ticket and economic competency I'd be half tempted to vote for them. Okay, maybe not in truth , but this is the thing. People are overwhelmingly against Brexit now, especially the young, the future of the country and the future electorate. The direction of travel is clearly one way. It literally boggles my mind how Starmer is betraying their aspirations and I can't even see the political strategy in it at all. I can see why he doesn't want to risk talking about it. But then to actively come out and stir the pot in favour of a permanent Brexit, that I can't fathom. It also literally give the tory an obvious win in the next GE cycle. That and along with his general insipid dulllness, the fact he's an Arsenal fan, and his opposition of electoral reform means he can sincerely get fucked. Honestly just don't know if I can vote for him. I almost certianly will, like I did Corbyn, but just for once it would be nice to vote for a party rather than against one.
  8. Meanwhile Starmer has been giving an interview with the fucking Daily Express saying the UK will never joing the EU, the SM, the CU, or have FoM again. Here's the link but I wouldn't recomend it. https://www.express.co.uk/comment/expresscomment/1775780/sir-keir-starmer-labour-rejoin-eu-brexit Is pandering to the Express like this necessary? How many votes does he think he will gain from this? How many does he think he will lose? He's lost me rejoining as a member already. I am now officially at the stage where I want him replaced as leader, I actually pretty much despise him at this stage,
  9. Johnson's been deleting his WhatsApp messages it seems. About as convinicing as Rebekah Vardy's excuse. What's the fat cunt hiding?
  10. Emery's record in that competition is ridiculous. No way do I want those cunts winning trinkets before us.
  11. Worse than that mate. Male, mix the worst points of both your suggestions, and you're not even near how bad this guy is! He's come over from Morcambe to do this, hope he gets a slow puncture back. Not really, sure he's okay really and feeling very sad inside.
  12. Lot's of things aren't fair in the football league set up man. Logically three points for a win isn't. But it makes it exciting, why we all watch games like today (I didn't like, right now I'm watching the worst ever entertainment in the Patterdale hotel). The relegation idea of yours sounds like a goer imo. 👍
  13. They're taking it to a new level of madness, they really are. And it's wonderful to behold. 🍿
  14. That word again, imagine. In that scenario, I imagine this would be be me travelling through the Tyne tunnel.
  15. I'm paying well over 2k on my mortgage now and yes, I heard, yesterday they're expecting another three fucking rises. Each 0.25% rise costs me about £20-30 I think and there's been 12 in a row now. Half my mortgage is fixed for two years, half is a life-time tracker 0.75 above base rate. Think my fixed rate ends in 2 years. Let's hope things have improved by then. Then energy, food, etc. My outgoings are horrific. And fucking taxes, which I wouldn't mind if services were improving but fucking hell, the country is falling to bits.
  16. To the bean counters out there (ewerk, Gemmill), is this something we should be worried about?
  17. Shearer sent a tweet about never seeing a mackem in Milan which is causing epic levels of fewm. They're wanting him banned from the BBC again. I'm in a bit of a hurry at the moment because I'm off to the mosque for Friday prayers, maybe meet some of you there. Also I'm obviously going to Saudi on holiday this year, anybody got any tips for the best places to stay? On a more serious note, I go to most home matches, never seen or heard any of the daft stuff they go on about. What has happened though, perhaps to an unepxected extent, is the football club has promoted great cultural pride in the region, the North East of England. You look at wor flags, it is all about regional identity. Nobody dressses like an arab, no references are made to Saudi other "Saudi Boys" which is ironically sung in response to away fans (still don't like it like). For me personally I feel no softening of my views on wahhabism. although I have a more nuanced view on the geopolitics, which again pre-exists the take over. Anyway, I've lost count on how "we are not their rivals now" and they don't care as their spring thread on us now approaches 9,000 posts with countless offshoot threads like the one on Shearer (itself several hundred pages).
  18. It would but Gateshead is in county Durham marra.
  19. So Gateshead is theirs cos its county Durham. But also, apparently everywhere their little river runs through is also theirs? And look at the cathphrases they're coming out with? We're fucked lads, may as well just pack it in now.
  20. Th This infomercial was brought to you by the Bari Tourism board d'Italia, courtesy of Robert Patterson. Or as they say near where PL is originally from, "Ken Bari ay? It's barry".
  21. There's a play on the Empire about their club at the moment, and what do you know, apparently if you are from County Durham, including Gateshead, you should be a massive fan of lads or seomething. That means YOU Gemmill.
