When did the term become commonly used in the NE though? I don't remember it being used that much in the 1980s at school tbh. Didn't it really take off during the Hall era?

There are always constraints. Can you show me where she has defined these please? And where she has said she wouldn't abide by the teachers' pay review decision? Because I can't see it anywhere outside a tweet by "Stats for lefties", a group who are clearly as partisan as you on these issues. In fact, she seems to have said almost the opposite from what is implied on the Sunday shows (categorically opposed to "austerity 2" for instance). Ditto PL's tweet written by a contibutor to the Morning Star. I dislike dishonesty wherever I see it. Don't get me wrong, I'm unhappy about a hell of a lot of things Starmer represents and am massively underwhelmed by him as a leader. But I'm not going to take random tweets from partisan sources like these as gospel, who have a clear agenda against the party executive, as per. If Starmer jettisons Miliband, Nandy, and Lammy feel free to tell me you told me so. If he doesn't, don't forget to correct yourself either.

Scanning it, it seems to be saying, yeah, the lifestyle and pay is better, but there are not enough coffee breaks, I don't get to sip pina coladas on the beach at weekends, the NHS is nearly as good, and it's a long way from home if there's an emergency family situation No shit. This Titan submarine was well fucking dodgy. None of the components certified. There was a bloke on C4 news last night who was due to make this trip but backed out as he was concerned by the lack of certification. Smart move. This thread is great for anyone interested in how to do things properly (as in Deepsea Challenger) and how fucked up this Titan sub was.

The tory mismanagement of the housing market has been done with their customary aplomb. All to protect their demographic, who are rapidly literally dying out now. And more generally, classic short termism in politics which Starmer has vowed to continue with of course. What a time to be alive. I did enjoy the 90s/noughties while they lasted mind.
