  1. I almost think I'd prefer them in the semis than the final. 180 mins to beat the fuckers and we have the best defence in the league.
  2. Separate the true old skool from the newbies. Like it.
  3. Wait....... I'm sensing a dose of mackem logic arriving through my chakra portals. Last time when Sunderland were relegated from the PL, they were too shit for the CL and were further relegated to L1 in last place. Ergo the PL musn't have a higher quality than the CL. Ommmmm.
  4. But Labour.... Hopefully a lot more people have got the memo seeing them in action the past few years. Bridgen is finished, this is clearly his suicide note. A cuntish tweet from a loony cunt.
  5. And then comparing covid vaccination to the holocaust. What an utter prick.
  6. Could have easily photoshopped that idiot's blood for a turd mind.
  7. I know. Played it a bit but couldn't be arsed, son.
  8. Not really a recommendation as not out until next Monday (Sky, Now), but this may be good. Same makers as Chernobyl. Also the protagonists are two of the coolest characters from GoT.
  9. Pretty sure it's the expansion vessel, which can be charged up again (i.e. be recalibrated) or if knackered can be replaced for around £100 all in by someone who isn't a con man. The BG contract does include parts though so I am going to make sure its fixed properly for free during the service.
  10. The idea of some low ambient heat source without hot water sounds utter shite, even before considering the price. Apparently they use a fair bit of electricity anyway so save you bot all. I remember getting my first combi and it was a revelation. Hot water on demand, showers which never went cold. Glorious.
  11. You can also get local plumbers to do an annual service once a year to put your mind at rest for a fraction of the cost. And thanks for you kind thoughts in my battle against my spare tire Fish, God bless you. I'll PM my paypal detals.
  12. So not sure its much consolation but if you had signs that early I'm not sure that would have been due solely to smoking? Lots of drugs to help you quit smoking - bupropion, varenicline, nicotine replacement, all available from your GP if not the respiratory clinic. Use all the help you can get. You've got a family which I'm sure is all the motivation you need. Not saying it will be easy but it is/was enough to motivate me to get off the booze. Ironically my liver scans have shown no physical damage at all which in a way doesn't help in the temptation stakes (!) but I know it will fuck my brain nonetheless so no thanks. Good luck.
  13. Similar situation. Boiler (only 2 years old ffs) kept losing pressure and cutting out overnight. Works when you refill it but still, didn't need the stress over Xmas, so called BG who I've got a care plan with. Three weeks wait, which they charge you a call out fee. Had a scheduled service a weeks later (now this Friday), so have held on til this and then will just cancel it. My plan currently costs more than my internet or house insurance ffs (they put it up after my introductory year expired and I forgot to cancel/renegotiate). As far as I can tell, there is no point in a BG service contract, just going to stick to local contractors.
  14. How have you only found out now if you don't mind me asking? How has it been diagnosed so far? But definitely quit immediately mate, regardless of the results of any more diagnostic work up. Fingers crossed for you.
  15. Well that's depressing. Just measured on Google maps, an so-called "Long" sands is only 1.3 Km, so I'd have to do it both ways twice! Christ I need some chocolate.
  16. Cheers, love hill walking, or just walking in general, but it's just a time thing. So I tend to "binge" 2 or 3 times a year on holiday. Fine going up hill but downhill absolutely fucks my knees and hips. Anyway, @Gemmill has motivated me to try couch to 5k, just aiming for 5k 3 times a week. I reckon that's the length of Long sands there and back, so could quite easily slip this into my routine after the school drop on days I wfh. Feels good to have an actual target, cheers lads.
