My wife is the same. Also those holiday homes abroad type programmes where 90% are freeloaders expecting to get a 5 bed villa for 40k. Having a late breakfast this morning, listening to R5 wuth Nicky fucking Campbell who has Kirsty Alsopp as a guest. Who of course is vehemently opposed to any wealth taxes and apparently tourists flock to the UK to look at the 5 million pound houses in Notting Hill. And all the callers are agreeing. Well aye. I mean of course popular media coverage is a factor here. For Sky, it's United and City. Personally I give no fucks over the latter as its irrelevant to me. The former pisses me off no end mind as I support Newcastle United.

I would definitely refer to Wednesday as such if both Sheffield clubs were in the premier league. But there are far too many "Uniteds" for this to work. Plus, along with Leeds maybe, I think we are one of the only genuine unified clubs in England, and one of the oldest. Man United are newbies and clearly don't represent a United city in that respect.
