  1. That's it for me too regarding Corbyn. It was obvious where this was heading with him in charge - a Tory landslide - so instead of actually doing something positive he's continued to make things worse. Perhaps it'll bring a positive change in the long run but I doubt it.
  2. Yeah, there was a mention on here of Boris Johnson calling Corbyn a "mugwump" in his column in The Sun but the real issue is that Foreign Secretary works for Rupert Murdoch (amongst others). Like it's a fucking part-time job or something.
  3. Last time I went there South North were playing Ashington.
  4. About as funny as cancer, ironically
  5. Might just be the best thing they've done (which is saying something). Brilliant tune
  6. If, like me, you are a betting man...
  7. They'll all be high on bong
  8. Glass full of realism guy
  9. Came back from Liverpool with a 9 bar once. Was sweating like a fat lass on the M6.
  10. Wanting / expecting a 'cracking deal' and wanting the leave the EU at the same time is a fucking daft pov anyway.
  11. It'll be because of all the absolutely fucking gigantic titans playing in the division next season.
  12. Here's an idea - don't bother and donate the cash to a cancer charity.
  13. I bet the she wouldn't have done that at Morrison's in Byker.
  14. Well, it's too late now anyway to change the leadership, but aye, you're probably right.
  15. Taking the game to a new audience.
  16. He ain't Joey Barton levels of controversial though, just TalkShite spout bollocks for a reaction controversial. I.e. the same as everyone else on that station.
  17. I think he's been on the cusp of going for a while. Wouldn't be surprised if the Tories thought along the same lines and thought a shit showing in the local elections and another few months of infighting would see him off, hence the snap election being called. Although, who the fuck knows what's going on any more?
  18. The daft thing is what we really need is a leader who is strong enough to compromise in negotiations (portrayed as weakness by the Mail, Sun, et al) rather than a one too weak to go against the press (portrayed as 'strong', of course).
  19. Or, to put it another way, the knackers who light up the switchboard when Joey B is on 5Live probably sit their nodding their heads in agreement when Pardiola is spouting his lies about his record etc.
  20. I don't really see it that way as I think Barton is obviously controversial and has plenty to say on a range of subjects both within and outside the game but Pardew is just there for his 'sage' views on football.
