  1. We’d be in the Europa League the following season at worst, if we won it next year
  2. Not sure / haven’t checked but I’d assumed it was then and the one season in the 70s Man Utd spent in the old second division.
  3. I’d want Man City to win anyway but I really hope they do us a favour next week. It would be just like Man Utd to win it though. However finishing above we them for the first time in the PL-era feels significant
  4. Tbh if we’re not in the CL then being in a competition (assuming we do make it) that we can actually win suits me. If West Ham can, we can. And you can probably progress without putting a full team out in the earlier rounds.
  5. Apart from Usyk (who is 37) I think an over the hill Klitschko (who I accept was still a very good fighter), I don’t think Fury has fought anyone of note. I’m not saying he isn’t a really good heavyweight. For a bloke his size he’s very fast but for someone being talked about as an all time great then his record is less than impressive in terms of opponents. Wilders got a hell of a knockout punch on him but he’s never been a great technical boxer. I bet he never fights Joshua either. I wouldn’t be surprised if this rematch doesn’t happen too.
  6. It’s difficult to imaging just how arrogant you’d have to be to go on national tv, say that and not realise what an absolute cunt you come across as
  7. Even if it were true, which it obviously isn’t, then it would be a pitifully small ‘benefit’ anyway And aye, she’s absolutely insane is Badenoch.
  8. As an aside do any people remember the Millennium Bridge being brought down the Tyne to be put in place? The floating crane was fucking huge. Higher than the Tyne Bridge iirc. Look at the height of it compared to the Baltic, man
  9. It also had a design fault where the hull was susceptible to cracking and it wasn’t economically viable to repair it. Same with the sister ship built there too.
  10. Exactly how I saw it. Very telling that it was a very fit and focused Fury but he was still clearly second best
  11. And (of course) the genocide
  12. The ref was a fucking disgrace tbh. You either stop the fight or let Usyk finish him off. You don’t step in and give him an eight count which was actually longer than 8 seconds. It was a close fight until then and I think Ritchie Woodall’s scorecard that had Fury a round up until then was probably spot on (at that point). Although a lot of those early rounds were close and difficult to score. Usyk won the last three rounds though so that should’ve been a 5 point swing with the 9th. I think fitness really showed in the end. Also I thought Fury had a big opportunity after hurting Usyk in the 5th with some body shots. But he sat back and admired his work instead of going for the kill. Excellent fight like. Shame Fury had to be an ungracious wanker at the end. But that’s entirely in character. The TNT commentary team were very optimistic in terms of how they saw the fight from Fury’s pov too
  13. How shite is the Saudi national anthem btw?
  14. And every single credible source has said the clause only applies to foreign clubs
  15. She wouldn’t pass for a good looking lad
  16. If Comedy Dave tells a joke in a forest and no one else is there. Is it still not funny?
  17. I think a clip of it was posted on here. They were on some UFO hunting tour going to places like Area 51. Or rather about a mile from the perimeter fence. And Roswell and all that bollocks. Looking for lights in the sky or whatever
  18. Actually, scratch that. He’s also a monumental bell end
  19. He’s an attention seeker. Nothing more
  20. Yep. He’s a grifter with a massive ego and zero substance. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was gutted once the initial euphoria of the referendum wore off. As, despite him still having a profile way bigger than he should, he’s relatively irrelevant nowadays.
  21. Pro Ashley. Stopped posting for some reason a while after their takeover
