Also, SB lives in Brighton so he’s definitely danced to that with his top off at some point.

I think the lyrics are relevant to his desire to keep Bruno at the club Agreed though, the Nush 8am Dub version is much better

Until they lost

Labour not saying much about it and the bbc completely ignoring it in an election campaign shouldn’t necessarily go hand in hand though. (I know you’re not saying that they should). But aye, Norfolk appears to be ram jammed with thick yokels and/or Tory cunts.

I wonder if he got this verbatim from the mythical mag, the steward or was also at Spurs that day

Reminds me of The Viz top tip: EMPLOYERS: Avoid hiring unlucky people by immediately tossing half the CVs into the bin.

It’s only Liz Truss though. It’s not like she’s had the massive influence like the political titan that is Diane Abbott has / had. It’s not like she’s a recent PM who completed fucked an already stalling economy. She’s not a current Tory mp, likely to stand and actually retain her seat at the coming election. Or someone who consistently shares a platform with neo-fascists. But aye, if there was any equivalence at all this would be a massive story and getting much more airtime than Abbott. Although despite the BBC’s best efforts, I suspect no one gives much of a shit about whether or not Abbott is a candidate. Most people who care about her actively dislike her / think she’s a moron. Thanks to the hatchet job outlets like the bbc have done on her in the past.

From the thread about our European ‘meltdown’.

They’ve got Tsunami zone warning signs up when you drive along the west coast of Vancouver Island. I didn’t actually realise the threat was quite so localised though. When I saw them I assumed it was just because there’s lots of potential for earthquakes in the pacific which could trigger a Tsunami and they were being cautious after the massive Indian Ocean one

Abbott going directly to the BBC doesn’t reflect particularly well on her tbh.

How fucking corny is that feral hipster-look now, man?

Apart from that short period when it was ‘Mag-like behaviour’. Which, by pure chance, coincided with them not being able to get hold of them, due to a tinpot operation in Co Durham having the contract for supplying the kits to fans.

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER
Alex replied to Sonatine's topic in Newcastle Forum
It would make sense, especially as Chelsea are now only in the conference. Are they actually allowed to do that though? I.e. you’d think there’d be sanctions -
Agreed. She’s been a victim of being held up to different standards her whole career. And the scandal of the antisemitism in the party, and the need to deal with it has meant this is another example. I suspect that, given the stage of her career and how she’s been treated etc, she is being cantankerous and they would quite like her to retire. If they end up with c. 450 MPs they are going to have to deal with more dissenting voices though. If she wants to cause a big stink and basically be a Tory enabler after the last 14 years she can do one though.
-
What Renton said was true as well. She made a clumsy point which she apologised for but it wasn’t antisemitic imo. If I understood properly she meant people from the traveller community and Jewish people weren’t always immediately identified as such, in the way a black person is identifiable by the colour of their skin. Therefore the prejudice they face isn’t the same.

Also, they should have and probably still should just let her stand as a Labour candidate. What difference does it make? If they stop her they’ll have to answer questions about it for days.
-
Yeah and the BBC were all over it like a rash. So you can see why labour were being careful but they seem to have made a right fucking mess. Especially as the outcome of the investigation was known in December. The BBC going the whole fucking parliamentary legend and trailblazer thing about her as well, man. I don’t remember that attitude when she was in the shadow cabinet. In the same news bulletin they made a huge thing out of Rayner, despite them being completely exonerated. Saying it still hasn’t gone away. I do think Abbott has been treated quite shabbily in general here though.

Loads of these schools can’t even operate as a viable business without the tax breaks, etc. Despite charging exorbitant fees. Little wonder that they turn out so many entitled cunts who think the rules don’t apply to them. Fuck the lot of them tbh. They’re a massive part of the mess the country is in.
-
Seems like an outlier anyway tbh. It’s been Labour in the low 40%s and the Tories in the low 20%s for ages now. I think people have made their minds up in a lot of cases too. It would take something remarkable to even see Labour ‘only’ get a majority like the ‘landslide’ one Johnson got

That’s sounds much better Tbf

Kuntsberg is going to be the anchor on election night. So on this rare occasion, her presence should make it even better tv
-
The other thing about that, which you just reminded me of, when schools had to mark the pupils based on what they thought they would achieve. And the state schools were by and large very fair and all the fee paying ones gave vastly inflated grades. I assume the kids who are not from rich backgrounds (because they are the ones national service would be aimed at) should be grateful about that too. I looked up that Bretton wanker and he’s a former army officer. So his posh sprogs / grandkids wouldn’t be what he has in mind either
-
That’s another thing that shows the desperation. Putting forward the illusion that he did this incredible selfless thing with furlough. And placing that at the front and centre of his campaign. It’s almost as ridiculous as the national service idea that they’d think that would be some big vote winner. The cherry picking too. Like it’s basically saying judge us only on very specific parts of our record and forget about the rest of the mess
-
I was saying that to my lass the other day re: him banging on about furlough. It was our money not out of your back pocket. The odious little cunt making out it was him being generous.
