  1. Not a very realistic signing though. Plus they’d want a fortune
  2. I do agree Mainoo is probably overhyped purely because he’s playing for them. Perhaps a case of shining by being decent in a not particularly well functioning team / midfield as well. I have been impressed when I’ve seen him though. I thought he did well v Liverpool in the cup game
  3. Marble-ous conwent from gemrz hewo
  4. Yes. Including the small print
  5. We’re probably only having this conversation now because Dummett is such a fucking nugget.
  6. They’re also struggling to get SME owners to pretend to like him if they’re getting a couple of lasses running a part time business whilst doing their A-Levels (or whatever). Assuming they’re not completely fabricating that part too. Should’ve got CT involved and had him hold up a ‘Fuck off, you cunt!” mug if they wanted a real captain of industry
  7. You’re right I think. They did a one a while back that took tactical voting into account iirc. The Tories were virtually wiped off the map.
  8. @strawb will no doubt put me right if I’m talking shite (wouldn’t be the first time for either) but I didn’t think Dubravka did particularly well for any of the goals v West Ham. Not saying it’s all on him by any means as we’re still way too open
  9. https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/prediction_main.html latest update for the month to the end of March
  10. Probably too busy asking him why he’s such a cunt when they get the chance face to face
  11. Even if it’s 42,000 sold seats including season tickets, they should be worried about how few actually bother turning up at the minute. Hasn’t the personalised (from Luke Onion) renewal email just gone out too? Presumably after the stunning win against Cardiff. Where Jobe gave the complete centre forward performance (because there’s never any middle ground with them lot). Although now the timing doesn’t look so clever after another home loss makes it 7 defeats out of the last 8 league games, if my maths is correct. Plus a caretaker manager in place until the end of the season and reports their ‘billionaire’ owner has gone cap in hand to the USA for a loan that wouldn’t buy Isak’s left foot.
  12. The date might be a factor. And don’t you try and invoke the double whoosh
  13. The way people went on when they won a cup tie against an admittedly excellent Liverpool side. But it was at home and it was one of those games where extra time was quite chaotic with it being a bit like a game of basketball. Where it was basically end to end and could have easily gone the other way. Long may it continue and keep that fraud in a job though
  14. You could try one of the places on Starbeck Avenue then head down to Ouseburn too. My mate reckons the Small Canteen is class, although I think they basically do one meat and one veg main course per day. Then there’s Scream for Pizza, as per Gemmill, which is quality. Little Lobo too. I bet they’re all shut too. The chippy used to be class as well if all else fails (not been in years like).
  15. Closed today though. Can’t recall ever going into town on an Easter Monday like (unless there was a match on). I would imagine it’s dead as a dodo if there isn’t a game on though.
  16. I was going to say the Grainger Market but I think it shuts at half five. Mantra Thai is really nice with lots of veggie options. It’s at Forth Banks (what used to be the Waterside Palace).
  17. Miley out injured now on top of those
  18. “I always put my address as County Durham” is a good one. What are you getting out of that exactly?
  19. The one thing Exile had left to cling on to was the length of time since Newcastle had beaten Sunderland. With that no longer being the case he’s complete lost it. That’s me assuming he wasn’t a better player than a current Brazil international when he was in his mid 20s though
  20. The fucking state of that post, man
  21. I think the main issue with our friend Keith is their being more dense than a neutron star
  22. Toney’s assist for the equaliser was sensational. Such a difficult ball to control, then great feet with several players around him and the vision to get his head up and pick the player out.
