that looks good enough, though shaw is apparently nowhere near matxh fitness - ridiculous to bring only one natural left back, who is injured. i'd go like this for Slovakia -------------Pickford--------- Walker--Stones--Guehi--Trippier ---------Rice----Bellingham------ Palmer---Foden---Gordon -------------Kane------------

this best listened to in a dark loud club, or with headphones on full volume

why can’t England play like that?

festivals are fucking brilliant. the ones where people don’t bring their kids, I should add. 48 hours of hedonism, off your napper, dancing in a field. If you get lucky with the weather, nothing beats it.

it’s still going

Someone might decide that. Southgate won’t. My team is similar to Mr Bass. Trippier doesn’t offer much at left back otner then defensive nous and experience. If we can’t play a left footed left back there, at least put someone in with some pace who can get up and down and give us more width, whether it’s Walker or the kid from Liverpool I don’t know. We need to find a way to get Gordon and Palmer into the team. That means moving Bellingham to a deeper position and Foden to number 10, or dropping one of them. Both are big calls seemingly beyond Southgate

reminds me of the days when we tried to shoehorn lampard, gerrard and scholes into midfield instead of playing players in their best positions

Stubborn is an understatement. It isn’t working - Conor Gallagher to the rescue!

though with good reason, as explained in this thread

we've definitely transitioned from that point in the year when the great british public stops moaning about the weather being shit to and starts complaining that it's being too hot

isn't that where wykiki stayed last year?
