  1. My pro Ashley mate on the text already "great news for NUFC this" pipe down #naivemugs If we're going to sell we'll get more money. You yourself said we'd be nuts to turn down £35m for a player 'none of us thought was worth £10m 6 months earlier'. Nobody's saying he's now unsellable but it does show that he's at least prepared to risk the fact that he'll be here for a long time. Aye I know that but all of this amazing news for the club is bollocks is so misguided, they'd sell their nana's the cunts if the price is right. I wouldn't sell Tiote at any price. Someone was mentioning pie in the sky bids for the likes of Milito, there are better strikers than Carroll out there, there's no one better than Cheik who we could get in. it is good news though whichever way you look at it. better he's signed than not, regardless of whether the club decide to cash in before the end of his new contract.
  2. as much as we like to complain about guitierrez, we'd miss him a lot if he goes.
  3. can't see how tiote signing on is anything but good news. hopefully barton and enrique will follow suit. if a big club comes calling in the summer with £20-30m for tiote (unlikely), we will almost certainly let him go. that's the position we're in now whether we like it or not. the big mistake with carroll wasn't selling him for an inflated fee, it was doing it without replacing him.
  4. blackpool aresinking like a stone right now. they look like they could join wigan and wolves for me
  5. that's a blow mate but don't let it get you down too much. i had a similar experience a few years back afte ri broke my shoulder the temptaion is to turn to comfort food but just try not to stick to a sensible diet as much as possible and you'll be back excercising again before you know it. so... this was a bad idea then? that's fine, probably counts towards one of your 5 a day
  6. that's a blow mate but don't let it get you down too much. i had a similar experience a few years back after i broke my shoulder - the temptaion is to turn to comfort food but just try not to stick to a sensible diet as much as possible and you'll be back excercising again before you know it.
  7. i'm hoping he won't be needed and can be sold; let's face it, he's not the best is he? for that to happen though, ashley's going to need to sanction the purchase of at least two or three better quality striker. not likely.
  8. about to go boxing with my pt. feel the need to let off a bit of steam after our server crashed and i lose a morning's worth of work
  9. can't think of anyone. i did go to two pretty shit schools though

  12. A silly statement from someone who doesnt come across as particularly silly. Suggest you look at the link I posted for Fish. With regard to whether seven pounds is healthy or not what can I say. All I have done is go from eating shit and skipping a few meals to eating regulalry during the day and eating more fish fruit and vegetables and less kebabs and mcdonalds. I think its a pretty well known fact that your body retains a lot of water and if you suddenly increase your uptake of water to a more healthy level, your body then releases the retained water giving a higher weight loss than normal. Anyway, Im happy and feeling pretty damn good. i'll confess i'm ignorant to the exact workings of the weightwatchers plan. i'm just going on what you've posted on here. some of the ready meals you posted earlier in the thread looked completely lacking in nutritional value and the thing you mentioned about skipping meals so you could load up with beer and still clock in under your daily points allowance doesn't sound good. running a calorie deficit is one thing, but the food you put into your body should still be nutritious. if it isn't, your body will go into starvation mode, burn muscle and stubbornly cling on to fat so you end up with a 'skinny fat' body. i've been there myself and believe me - it isn't a good look. look, anything that gets you thinking about a healthier lifestyle is a good thing and you should be commended for starting on the right path but i'm sceptical about crash diets. i've tried them and while i've lost weight with them, but i've never found them to be a sustainable way way of staying in good shape. it's good that you're thinking about what you put in to your body but i suspect that if you want to really change the way you look and feel for the better in the long term, you will have to give up this plan and approach it in a more sensible way.
  13. the weight watchers diet isn't built on sensible nutrition and excercise. it's basically, eat lots of crap as long as you maintain a calorie deficit. that is not sustainable. and by the way, losing 7 pounds in a week is not a good idea. it isn't healthy, nor is it sustainable.
  14. My tips looking good. Just call me stevie. Psychic man

    Fad Diet's

fad diets are a waste of time if you want to keep fat off in the long term.
  17. He's credited as writing his own stuff on that Thursday night 10 o'clock show on channel 4. Not sure i buy that tbh
  18. Because of how he invests. Clearly man city have more ambitious owners than us and therefore more potential.
  19. Whether we accept it or not, it's the best we can hope for under Ashley. Obvioulsy id rather we were still top 4 but that ain't going to happen while the fat tat is in charge. He could easily take us down again with his methods so challenging for top 6 is going to be as good as it gets.
  20. Optimistic. We're bound to go on another winless run again before the end of the season. I think we'll end up with 40 odd points and a mid table finish, which will be a great effort despite the best efforts if the fat man to take us straight back down.
  21. When the inevitable happens and he goes we'll probably get someone like van annholt inb
