    it's no wonder we're a laughing stock like when the owner pulls shit like this. is he a complete spaz? does he want us all to hate him for some unknown reason? or is he such a cretin that he actually thinks this is a good move. i think in reality, hughton probably asked for a well earned pay rise and a bit of money to spend in january. ashley used a couple of bad results as an excuse to sack him and replace him with someone prepared to work for peanuts because no one else will touch him.

    honestly, this is as bad as replacing robson with souness and replacing keegan with kinnear. just when things look like he might have got lucky and managed to steady the ship with hughton - and even win a few fans over to accepting our likeable and honest manager will get performances out of a limited squad despite zero investment he goes and does this. if he'd had someone half decent with the promise of a a buy or two in january he could have won us back. it's almost like he wants to how to turn the entire support base against him. surely no one could be this clueless?

    i'm spitting feathers. literally furious. what the fuck do they think pardew can bring that hughton couldn't? it beggars belief. we were all happy with hughton doing the best he could under the appaling conditions of workign on a shoestring for ashley. the only acceptable move for firing him would be bringing in an experienced manager with a track record of success. what does he do? appoint someone that no one else in the premier league would touch? it just doesn't makse sense.

    i'm still fucking furious me like. the whole thing's exacerbated by twats at work coming up to me asking me why ashley sacked him. i don't fucking know - becuse he's officially the shittest chairman ever to run a football club? fuck off and leave me alone, i'm trying to mentally prepare for the announcement that pardew's taking over. i thought the cricket would take the edge off the way i'm feeling but i'm so vexed i still have to vent some anger. we have no divine right to do well sure, but how can it be possible for a club like ours, with all its vast potential, to be continually and royally fucked over by the cretins that run it???

    you almost have to laugh. this is absolutely fucking farcical. he wants a man with more premier league than hughton - pardew's only experience is getting sacked the season west ham were relegated. you'd have thought he's have learned something from the season he sacked keegan and replaced him with jfk. if you get rid of a good manager and replace him with a has-been, what do you expect? jokes aside these sort of decisions put you off following football. it's a complete nonsense.

    i'd like to retract my earlier comments in the light of today's event. hughton would be the main reason we would survive. relegation a serious possibility now. hopefully we have enough on the board to give us a fighting chance but the longer we remain mangerless, the more likely we'll get sucked into it again.
