Having been to Sydney and seeing the various lunatic street-performers down by Circular Quay, I now realise why Lou was so obsessed by the place. Slightly off topic but I was reading an article in the paper yesterday about all the hype surrounding Rooney's injury and how the media are making huge noises about how he's going to be fit etc. It basically said that it's all a cover-up in order for the World Cup hype to be maintained and to keep his sponsors happy when in reality there's actually little or no chance he's going to be fit for any of the games at all. Medically speaking, there's no way he should be fit - wacky oxygen tents or not.

The thing with central London is that you can't really avoid the touristy stuff! Definitely sharpen your elbows for when people barge past you on the tube/in the street/just about anywhere
