Will you all stop making this sound plausible and a good idea. Zip it, Dave lad.

Thinking about this more and more...it's absolutely got to be a no for me.

My mum met him tonight btw. Not as Partridge and without guitar (obviously). Some Tony Wilson reception thing in the city.

Or you could just be an all round footballing God like Cruyff. Aye I'm willing to bet he got a pretty decent grounding in coaching, playing in those Ajax and Holland teams mind. You'd have to be retarded not to in fact.

All of the top managers in the prem were supremely average players. It's a hallmark of a good manager in some ways I spose, if you're not gifted with as much natural ability as others then you're forced to study the game more.

Love those tunes. One of the most entertaining and weird lives acts ever too.

aye just not enough of a matchwinner for me, for someone is such an advanced role. a "scorer of great goals, not a great goal scorer" etc etc

I didn't think he was a cunt as a player. I didnt think he was a particularly good one either like.

above average sized..... Yes by the definition of big above, there must only be three big clubs in this country. I was parodying J69's penis claims tbh. Claims that were never made tbh Not by your lass, any road.

PS wasn't it directed by part time Geordie, Ridley Scott of 'Alien''s fame

Just on a point of interest (or not as the case may be) that Hovis ad was filmed in Dorset, about as far South as you can get, and yet it's become a symbol of the north.

They only have to improve by one place though to be fair because they could come second with my nanna managing them.

above average sized..... We're a grower not a show'er. In terms of support we're no lower than fourth. Would Everton, Spurs, Man City or Villa type clubs who all have at one time or another have claimed to be as big or bigger than us, have had the media frenzy that we've had following a manager getting sacked? People are interested in NUFC, it's as simple as that, doesn't make us big though. You can't just go on trophies won, Blackburn have won more than Chelsea, does that make them bigger? Newcastle get more than twice as many match going fans as Juventus does that make us bigger? It's a pointless argument, but I make up my own criteria to suit us when I'm having this argument so we're fourth and that's that, even Tim Sherwood said we were bigger than Chelsea on Friday night, but then again he said the same about Spurs. Pointless argument but one thing is for certain, Newcastle Blue Star, Blyth or Carlisle could easily be as big as Blackburrrrn. Agree with that. Also we're the only show in town as far as we're a city with one team. Also I strongly believe that the club has more association with the local identity than any other in the country and I feel quite well placed to say that as I say that as an 'outsider'. I think it actually defines the region in a similar way Barcelona does for Catalonia.

That suggests to me that the new housing going up is probably of very poor quality.

Hitzfeld, Houllier and Van Gaal now in the frame

Bolton game is huge imo - could be the game that the season hangs on (relegation dogfight or mid-table comfort zone) Good call. We've got to believe we've got it in us to beat Bolton at home even under 'a.n. other'. This would then make the world of difference to how we can afford to approach the rest of the season and ergo how much luxury (in terms of time) we get to look for the next manager. This is so cliched it's horrific but how would people fel to El Tel being offered silly money just to come in as caretaker til May and see us through? Personally I'd make him an offer he couldnt refuse. -

Obviously it's a concern but I honestly think there's enough shit down there. Plus we've already played Derby twice so Arsenal to one side, there are no more games we 'can't win' -
I like it. You're right, KK coming back is so wrong but it feels so right... Think of what your missus would say.
