Didn't Sam say he was looking for big, physical defenders?

Shopping on a saturday is a no-no in my book. Was it one of Next's end of season things where they open at about 5am?

Good old Murray, a true legend. Hamilton has been granted provisional permission to race but faces a further medical in the morning. He'll do well to continue his run of podium finishes from tenth on the grid regardless.

His first major F1 incident. Be interesting to see how he reacts.

What does that mean?

This is getting ridiculous now. Why have they left?

Whats the worst job you have done?

I worked in the cold storage rooms for Iceland once. In winter you'd go to work in the dark and the cold, work in a warehouse with no windows that was kept between minus 18 and minus 25 all day, then go home in the dark & cold. It was constantly understaffed, so you had to work extra hours and to make matters worse it was in Middlesbrough. I was fucking suicidal. -
Spot on boss.

I've been out of the loop for the last couple of weeks so I haven't heard anything regarding the appointment of backroom staff: How is Sam getting on? Wasn't there stories of a team of 20 specialists working in their own fields? What's happening with the head of sports science and performance director from Bolton (Forde one of them was called, don't recall the other bloke). Are Bolton making them work their notices? Is it right that Steve 'Clipboard Kid' Round is now the assistant manager?

Ah, but Redcar is that bit closer to the equator. It's like the tropics round here.

Is there too much football on television?

Screening friendlys is probably overkill. Other than that no probs. -
So who is yet to make up?

There seems to be a lot of them around this year. They are unique (well, maybe ladybirds as well) in the creepy-crawly world in that people don't instantly want to squish them. "Oh you can't kill them, its unlucky" No wonder they are breeding like crazy, unfair advantage imo.

Agreed. You could add Best of the Worst to that list too.

Boyle is a legend on that show, the only one to consistently make the other comics laugh out loud. I wish he'd hurry up and do a stand-up tour.

Owen woos Tyneside by bidding for the captaincy
Dr Kenneth Noisewater replied to Jimbo's topic in Newcastle Forum
So Shearer should never have been captain then??? There were times when I thought Shearer shouldn't be captain, times when it didn't do his game any favours no matter how proud it made him. For me, centrehalves or midfield generals make the best captains. Whether we have anyone who fits the bill is debatable. -
This. Where has the love gone? This was a good banter board before I went on holiday. How come everyone is taking things so personally now, what did I miss?

I don't like forwards as captains. Goalscorers need to keep that selfish outlook. -
