  1. There is more to being a top football administrator than signing cheques I would imagine.
  2. Truly the most repulsive image I've ever had the misfortune to set eyes on.
  3. Is it still pissing down there? I'm camping near Mevagissey in a week or so's time.
  4. I had it done in Henna once when I was on holiday. On my calf, it lasted about a week.
  5. Whereabouts in Cornwall do you live 2bias?
  6. Steve will love it in that case.
  7. Wonder if Arse will go after Owen now? Remember Anal's exclusive that Wenger had asked if he could have whichever of Owen and Martins we didn't want?
  8. Did they look like this: SPECS cameras clock your average speed over a set distance. If you've heard nowt in the next two weeks I'd assume you've got away with it. EDIT: some of them can be 'tricked' if you change lane between entering and exiting the monitored zone.
  9. http://edition.cnn.com/2007/US/06/15/burie...c.ap/index.html It'll be tough to jumpstart classic car after 50-year burial TULSA, Oklahoma (AP) -- Calling it "our King Tut's tomb," thousands of people watched as a 1957 Plymouth Belvedere was pulled from the ground where it had been buried for 50 years as a time capsule of American Midwest culture. The concrete vault encasing the car may have been built to withstand a nuclear attack, but it couldn't keep away water. At Friday's ceremony, protective wrapping was removed to show the mud-caked vintage vehicle covered in rust. Shiny chrome was still visible around the doors and front fender, and workers were able to put air in the tires. "I'll tell you what, she's a mess. Look at her," said legendary car builder Boyd Coddington, who was unable to start the car as planned. From the trunk, organizers pulled out some of the objects buried to celebrate Oklahoma's 50 years of statehood -- a 5-gallon can of leaded gasoline, which went for 24 cents a gallon in those days, and rusted cans of Schlitz beer. The contents of a "typical" woman's handbag, including 14 bobby pins, lipstick and a bottle of tranquilizers, were supposed to be in the glove box, but all that was found looked like a lump of rotted leather. Workers also searched for a spool of microfilm that recorded the entries of a contest to determine who would win the car. The person who guessed the closest of what Tulsa's population would be in 2007 -- 382,457 -- would win. So far, all they found were guesses of the population written on postcards. That person, or his or her heirs, will get the car by June 22, along with a $100 savings account, which is worth about $1,200 today with interest. A separate time capsule buried with the car was opened, and organizers removed and unfolded an unfaded American flag. Other historical documents, aerial maps of the city and postcards were in good condition. "We don't care what condition it's in," said Bob Petri. "It's just the whole idea somebody thought of it in 1957 and here we are living it."
  10. Once again Allardyce saying all the right things. Sensible approach, trying to get an expensive asset settled as quickly and comfortably as possible. I've heard in the past that we have basically given foreign players the keys to a rented house and left them on the doorstep. Hardly surprising if they don't feel at their peak after that.
  11. Three years of gradual improvement should see us somewhere between fourth and seventh. Satisfactory imo. A few cup runs would be nice.
  12. I think it was made by the Teesside Development Corporation years back.
  13. As usual, Toontastic excels itself in giving out practical advice and sensible answers (Except Skarjo Hannson's post).
  14. Skol and Craig's teams look quite exciting, Mark's is depressing. Which way will it turn out?
  15. Are we supposed to guess what it is and how much they are asking for it?
  16. Sure he said a Ghia For average miles that price would be about right. I'd definitely try and knock them down a bit on price due to the mileage tho. And make sure the a/c is working properly or you're looking at big bucks to put that right.
  17. 100k is no big deal for a car these days as long as it has been serviced properly, had the oil changed regularly and hasn't been used for towing. That does sound steep for a Y with that sort of mileage mind. What spec is it?
  18. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/59968 Blatantly shitting himself tbh.
