If we get CL, I want the hardest group. I want trips to Barca and Bayern. -

£12m for Crouch, either £4 or 5 million for Jerome so that's £16/17 million. Throw in Jones, it goes to £24 million for a combined 28 goals. -

And that only works when you bring someone in of equal quality and value, not throwing away £18 million on Crouch and Jerome -

"And I'll say that to his face, just yee fucking watch, Perchy" -
Making steak bakes next week as well. Perfect woman. I bet she loves a good drink as well.

Start it again after you've done it once. That's all I'm saying.

Ye done New Game+ yet?

You know, I picked 'right hook' because I thought "Those bastards won't be able to make an innuendo out of that" and here we are.
-
Gayness, I think. Which, as far as I understand it, tends to start with being gay. Meenzer bobbing and weaving around this thread, giving some excellent right hooks when it opens up.
-
If it wasn't for the bum gymnastics and having to do my own ironing, I could quite happily be gay. Christ, even when you're gay, you still won't do any exercise.

Right, you hide first and we'll come looking eventually

He had a massive cock as well.

Sublime drummer. A perfect example of what I hold as the true quality of a good drummer; drumming for the song, not with the song. Too many drummers play to be heard, he played to have an effect on the song as a whole. He knew how to work around the structure, how to build his parts, how to innovate when staying in the constraints of the style. Supremely underrated in the pantheon of drummers; Bonham, Moon, Ward were all brilliant but it takes a different kind of muscianship to play in The Band and stand out so vividly without overplaying. The man was a tremendous vocalist too; a lot of The Band's best songs like The Weight, The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down, All La Glory; all Helm vocals and the notion of providing such inventive and inch-perfect drumming whilst delivering sublime vocals is a talent lost on a drummer like me. Hopefully this leads to an re-evaluation of his work amongst drummers and hopefully people learn the hardest skill of all when behind a kit and that's feeling a song, identifying what it needs and playing it, fills, rolls and crashes be damned. RIP.

Discussion should end here. J69 knows the business.

He was an arrogant arsehole when he was West Brom manager the same year we were in the Championship. this tbh. Carried it on into the PL up until they sacked him.

Ba dropped for Marveaux. Nowt to happen for 60 mins, Ba to score the winner, confidence restored, Double Dembas back in goalscoring action. Sorted. -
I think we should sell Ba; he's a flash in the pan and is SHIT. Nowt on Shola.

Pulled it round spectacularly, CT.

Yep I have no doubt it'll be that horrible effort from a few months ago. I don't really rate any of the puma kits yet if I'm honest. Some of them are decent looking but they don't come close to representing value for money which is obvious when you see that Besty got a shirt from a foreign site that is as good as the real thing. Oh yes I'm the Pirlo, I need a tackler alongside me.
-
5-a-side team sorted. Some side as well.

Must be how you've lasted so long on here.

We're not going to see massive activity in every window and in terms of squad personnel, I think we're going to be losing Smith, Lovenkrands and Guthrie. Maybe Best (but he's just had a kid up here too apparently) but I think, without a striker coming in, you need to keep Best about. He's not the greatest but has scored this season when we've needed him to (When Ba either wasn't performing or wasn't here) and will always put a good shift in. You've got to remember losing Smith frees up an extra 60k a week as well which may incentivise the board to give Simpson that bit extra wedge he's after for a couple of years extra with the intention of slowly improving that position. We lose Simpson and we're down to whoever comes in (if a RB is signed; a link with Debuchy means very little), Ryan Taylor (who is arguably better at LB) and Perch. I haven't seen Tavernier so can't comment on his readiness at all but I'd rather have Simpson around in case of trouble. Also, we're juggling (potentially) 3 cups alongside a league campaign; a league campaign in which the expectation should be European football again iyam. We can afford to lose a player like Guthrie who, while technically competent, is expendable in the grand scheme of central midfielders with Abeid, Vuckic and Gosling waiting in the wings. If you factor in the 4-3-3, you also have Jonas who has proven to be a good option and Perch who, albeit given a very basic job, has performed. The next two windows, IMO, should have a very clear focus on strengthening the depth available at the back. Bringing along the likes of Santon alongside quality like Coloccini and eventually relegating the likes of Taylor and Perch to bit-part roles in the midfield or away from the club all together (I like Ryan Taylor as a character but if we're serious about building a good side, he should be away in the next 2 seasons). Danny Simpson needs to at least stay for the foreseeable future IMO as, from this point on, I don't think we're going to be a side who radically alters the make-up of the squad from window to window (though last summer had big characters leave so it was a neccessity, I don't think we'll see that in the summer). We could have another whole debate about selling players like Simpson, Ryan Taylor, Best etc and how you lose their presence with regards to morale and team bonding. More than talent has went into the make-up of our season IYAM and Simpson, who seems to be well-liked and popular amongst the players, can be a big loss in more ways than one when they leave.
