  1. Done whilst half-cut as well. Get on my level, lads.
  2. Chronicle will run with Brett Emerton signing instead.
  3. I'm sure they won't charge Kaboul for kicking a Norwich player either.
  4. Was trying to hold up the ball against Norwich as well, it was just a bad touch.
  5. Totally unfair. The only problem I have ever had with Jonas is his creativity. His work rate has been exceptional. Because he's a good guy, a lot on here overlooked his lack of creativity but at the end of the day my point about him still stands. I was obviously keen for anyone to be given a chance on the left wing be that Lua Lua, Ferguson or Marveaux. Thankfully, we have now found a system that has overcome Jonas playing in that role and we are reaping the benefits and look a lot more creative team. However as I've said elsewhere today, I think we are more creative when Guthrie is part of the midfield three and not Jonas. Where that leaves poor spidey for next season I'm not sure. Ferguson is a great player to have in the squad, particularly as he's the only left footed one. He is young, isnt afraid to get stuck in and heads for goal every time he has the ball. He is also mature enough to know when to play the safe ball. Most Newcastle fans used to like seeing a young'un breaking through so Im guessing the only reason he gets grief on here is due to a few contrary twats. NB: While I am not a kiss and tell, even today I have had a PM from someone claiming also not to be a fan of Jonas PM's for fucks sake...... Dont be afraid of the forum bullies Jonas isn't ineffective though? Stewart Downing has been completely ineffective out wide, so much so that Marveaux actually has more assists than him and he's only played 4/5 Prem games. I love seeing a good young-un come through and fair play, Ferguson looks really good. But, so do Abeid, Vuckic and Sammy and you're not tugging yourself off over them. You rate Ferguson and aye, it's fair but it's also because you have a gripe against Gutierrez because he doesn't get chalk on his boots as much as you'd like, despite having a few assists this season from a wide position and some brilliant defensive work down the flank. PS. Forum bullies is ridiculous carry-on and makes you sound like a total bairn. If you put your opinions out there, they're fully entitled to be debated with and picked apart.
  6. Move Ben Arfa's "dribble with the ball" and "drift inside" sliders to "often" and watch the magic happen.
  7. It's amazing what running @NUFCFans and having a few thousand followers on Twitter can do.
  8. There's probably players we're looking at now that we won't see sign til 2015. Which is mental.
  9. Agreed. He was awful when he had the run in the team after Christmas. We've had to be patient but I don't think I ever doubted the talent was there, just the temprament wasn't. Seems to have clicked with him and we're feeling the benefit.
  10. New Dr. John as produced by Dan Hairyback from The Black Keys. Tom, get this album NOW.
  11. He'll be a canny little player. CT just despises Jonas because he's hung his hat on Ferguson and wants him to come good. Must we forget Lua-Lua.
  12. Brilliant work from Shola for the second too. Subs were on point today, as you say. Pardew's astuteness continues to impress.
  13. Unreal. He and Cisse are going to get us Champions League. They're going to fucking well do it.
  14. Was saying that yesterday Think it's that Alonso at LB but even then.
  15. Uptight is a better vocal performance and a stronger song though. Life experience is a dodgy point because The Ramones' life experience seemed to be drinking and fighting and they were brilliant. My main sticking point with Adele is dodgy tunes and annoying voice.
  16. I was off the drink for a week and had the same. Basically, embrace being a pisshead.
  17. Marveaux is coming back. Like a new signing, if you'll excuse the cliche.
  18. Gosling/Abeid then. My general point is that it would take a fuck-up ala Wolves to knacker this game up but we're a far more focused side than we were then.
