    I just can't see us scoring a goal at the minute, so maybe 0-0 is the best we can hope for. As it happens I think we'll probably lose 1 or 2 nothing. If it stays goalless I expect the Silver Fox will get lambasted by the SJP faithful, and rightly so.

    You can't fault the porn barons for the backing they've given him. I doubt the Upton Park faithful are too thrilled with the footy though…

    It's the Mackems' bad luck they're up next against two title contenders rather than mid-table fodder with nothing to play for (like us). However there's usually a few twists and turns in the relegation battle before the last day….maybe it'll help playing as no hopers away from a hostile home crowd….seems unlikely though…..

    It's ironic Ashley turfed out Allardyce if he wanted someone who provided mid table mediocrity and shit football. Presumably the problem was Allardyce's penchant for transfer funds and signing clapped out old players.

    Pardew loves himself. He won't resign because he's too fantastic to be at fault for anything.

    For me the question isn't whether we'll get a result. It's whether we'll get a goal. I don't think it's likely.

    Charnleys statement suggests they will underpromise and underdeliver as per bloody usual. Our best hope is that dead wood like marveaux and obertan leave and are replaced by decent players. They will still need to ienvest heavily in strikers and creative players imo otherwise we will be relegation candidates

    Sacking Hughton with 6 games to go and replacing him with some unproven junior coach is just mental imo. We saw how well bring in Shearer with a handful of games left worked for us. It's a desperate gamble based solely on the alleged "bounce effect" of bringing in a new manager - which apparently is a myth. Hughton deserves better imo.

    I'd like to think Pardew will be sacked as soon as the season ends if the current malaise continues as expected. Apparently he was nearly sacked last summer....by anyones standards the second half of the season has been a dismal failure....any sensible owner would be moved to action to prevent a repeat next season. Of course we don't have a sensible owner so......

    I don't give a toss whether we finish top or bottom half. I expect the players don't either.

    1 point from the last 6 games or something. The cup runs haven't done them any favours in the league by the looks of it.....if palace and wba put any sort of run together, they're royally screwed. WHU was a must win game imo, massive uphill struggle now
