    It's harder to think of a poorer quality appointment than Pardew. A man sacked from his last 3 managerial posts, who was alleged to have to have a drink problem (and probably a gambling addiction too by the sound of it). A man with a track record of failure in the premier league, who couldn't cope with Southampton. The more I think about it, the more absolutely fucking outrageous this is. WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY THINKING?!

    I can't imagine what Pardew thinks he's walking into. Is he so clueless that he'll be humming "Reach for the stars" as he knots his tie, looking forward to his first match in charge, expecting people to be excited by his appointment? He'll be hated by the fans and the players, he's a lame duck appointment and doomed to failure. How long before Barton calls him a loser and a wanker and lamps him one in the dressing room?

As it stands it looks like we've sacked a perfectly OK manager to replace him with a dogshit manager that the players and fans will resent and who the media will target. Plus it seems he's a horrible bastard too. Where's the sense in that? Will Ashley be shocked and surprised when we sink like a stone with his drinking buddy in charge?

    Lets just get this straight - lack of experience was the reason a perfectly good manager lost his job. The club are also claiming that the process of finding a new manager (Pardew) started on monday when Golfmag on N-O and Stevie on here revealed we were getting rid of Hughton for Pardew weeks ago. Utter bollocks. It certainly looks like this was all stitched up long ago as claimed. It's just it's so ridiculous as to be unbelievable.
