A stat attack from the Geordie Journos. In 2025, in the PL, Harvey Barnes has got 7 goals and 4 assists across this season and last. That's in 25 games. Across the same period, Anthony Gordon has 2 goals and 1 assist in 23 games and all 3 of those came in January. So whilst Gordon might be the player with the higher ceiling, unless he starts to actually show that, then he should be left playing second fiddle to Barnes.

I'll always say Man United because we're a United, and they're not having it. But we're not a City so I don't care about calling Man City just City. Plus we're playing in the Premier League and they're the only "City" team that is an ever present in that division, so typing Man City (which tbf I still do type a lot) is pointless.

I agree with his point, it just didn't look to me like Pep was discussing performances or directing Bruno. I think he was moaning about the ref and the fact that Joelinton had just had to be dragged away from battering one of his players at full time. But I don't like how he always makes a beeline for Bruno and gives him his headlock hockle in your ear chats. Howe said in his press conference that they'd been told to get Joelinton down the tunnel cos he was on one. He was back on it yesterday.

Aye I'd agree with this. I didn't really know what had happened in the ground, but when I saw the incident on a 3 minutes sky sports highlights package which had no explanation for the VAR decision, I couldn't believe it hadn't been given.

Howay man, he was brought on to play out of position up front when we were basically trying to run down the clock. He did nowt wrong at all. Minteh is not that good and Elanga will turn out better than him.

Our second goal btw, when you watch the replays, incredible effort from Bruno to win the header and Barnes's finish is class.

I do worry about this if they get rid of Slot mind. Although Klopp has been making noises about possibly coming back one day, so hopefully he'd be their first port of call.
