Sky had to be covering it was broadcast here in Australia on Foxsport (our Sky equivilant) with two of the usual twits commentating. 123405 All of the Premiership games are always covered like that, even if you don't see them, they're usually on somewhere. 123449 I've noticed that but we rarely get delayed telecasts, they normally just show whatever the live game is at the 12, 3 and 5pm kick-offs.

I think that is more testament to the lack of quality within the squad, something which Roeder cannot be blamed for as he took charge after the transfer window closed. The squad we have isn't good enough to challenge the top 3 and therefore I think it's unjustified somewhat to judge Roeder's ability on the basis of the results we got in those games. That said, the question was put to me yesterday "would I be happy if Roeder got the job permanently?". The answer is that I simply don't know. Tactically, I think he's got the ability to take us where we want to go. What we don't know of course is if he can do the business in the transfer market. Someone pointed out yesterday that he showed he can't because he signed Repka. Every manager buys at least one shit player during their time at a club (Keegan - Hooper & McDonough, Ferguson - Taibi, Wenger - Jeffers, etc) so I don't think we can automatically knock the bloke off one signing. What does interest me is that he is a manager who was a defender in his playing days and therefore thinks with a defensive mind. Everyone knows that defensively, we've been fucking shite for years but when you look at our recent history of managers: Souness (Midfielder) Robson (Winger) Gullit (Midfielder) Dalglish (Striker) Keegan (Striker) Ardiles (Midfielder) maybe there's a link? (and yes, I know Ardiles and Gullit [in later years] were defensive midfielders). Personally I think the major difference since Roeder took the reins is the defence. We're a million times better! Do we take him over O'Neill? Definitely not! But if it's between the likes of Curbishley, Allardyce, McLaren, etc I'd take Glenn every time. I certainly think he should have some involvement in coaching the first team - defensive coach perhaps? (That ought to piss Lawro off - still bitter about being fired Mark? ) 122744 Craig, I can't believe you are overlooking the real reason for the improvement in our defence, the rise and world domination of Romoreeio!

Cath, it happened in Newcastle! When was the last time you saw a shark in Newcastle? The question you have to ask, is why did he put his foot in a sharks mouth? I bet his mum is having a field day with that one. By the way sharks like the english, for some reason they think they are a bit tastier

So not speed all adrenaline then miss? Maybe these will help.

The problem with most mass produced beer is they can't (don't) take the time to ferment it correctly before bottling, so therefore they use to much yeast and preservative so it can ferment in the bottles on the way to the retailer. It's more about maintaining the volume of output. The best example here is at Christmas, the mass produced beers are even worse because they are just pumping it out in order to maintain production when they close for the holiday period. Then to make matters worse, it is always the last product produced to be the first on the shleves. Give me an Erdinger anyday.

Step forward Smooth Operator...... 119757 Done. I texted him, "Seeing as you're a bloke how much for blowing out your bomb doors? His reply, "You think I'm a bloke? What you on about, I'm a girl. Wanna arrange a meet?" 119765 Smoothy I think you should text him puff next time he asks for a pic of your tool. See if being faced with the owner of that he's still up for it.

You can just imagine at training Carrick and Murphy wishing they had the chance to snap the little puffs leg off just to show him how to tackle.

Slowdive - Souvlaki. One of the two greatest but sadly missed by the listening public releases of the shoe gazing genre.
