1. Wants to for me but should before they get for too much.
2. Thanks Cath. There is a great restaurant around the corner that does these amazing corn fritters with bacon and rocket, do they count? There like pancakes but yummier. 101550 Do they count?! Is it called Fritter Tuesday? No! 101556 Well that's it woman, I'm not taking you there when you're lost and hungry in Sydney!

N-O

oh my god, what the fuck, barbeque?[/] Have I missed something?
6. I'd be happy if that was the case but I severly doubt it. 101327 It might mean the difference between Owen staying or going. As a national team manager, from an outsider's perspective he is doing ok but his record at club level was very good, so maybe people need to rate him based on that. I'd be worried about him and Dyer being out on the town together.
7. People I think we have just found the answer to the "What is Rob W's occupation?" thread question. Rob W = Supermac!
8. And you know Gemmill he'll make an absolute fortune exploiting the Australian public for the next couple of years on the back of it. The press here constantly talk up how important he is to the team and we all know when he can be arsed he is a good player but it's only when it suits him. Prat of the highest order.
9. Still hasn't found what he's looking for.
10. You can be such a cantankerous bitch some mornings Gemmill You know writing the word tit only encourages CF to post a pic of Dyer or smoothy a pic of his latest wank fodder!

Nobby

Bumped as this thread is even more relevant after saturday. By the way your nan could probably of taught donkey to heed the ball but do you think she could teach him to strike a ball with the outside of the foot like Nobby did on Saturday. Sorry but Nobby is living proof that speed isn't a prerequisite to be a winger.
12. If Charlie keeps up his current form I can see him eclipsing Larry's stats very quickly. I was a huge fan of LR but no-one can argue how refreshing it is to see young N'Zogbia carving up the opposition. Charlie's enthusiasm and work rate is so impressive, especially for the fact he is still only a young lad and the first goal on Saturday is the perfect example of what we need from all our players.
13. Anyone see the goal he set up for Pederson against the arse on Saturday??? Awesome. Ah well, time to move on.
14. A couple of things are raised out of this question: 1. What does it matter when the next manager is appointed between now and the summer? We would hope that whoever is appointed, whether they are currently employed in the game or inbetween positions such as MON and OH, would still be actively watching and noting players that they would like to work with. Yes our scouts should still be actively looking at players but at this moment they should be scouting for players like Charlie instead of name players. 2. The World Cup is somewhere where our scouts/manager/chairman shouldn't be looking for players. Every four years we see players who have an amazing tournament transfer for ridiculous fees all on the back of 4 weeks of football. The Senegales to pool, Sparrowhawk to us, Brazilians to poo, etc. There is a pattern here of brilliant African and South American players performing at the finals and then transfering to Europe only to fail or at least not consistantly perform as they had previously. Why? Climate. A competition in summer, even a mild summer, is no reflection of how a player will perform in the rain, with the north wind blowing around their ears. All in all we would hope that whether the next manager is announced tomorrow or the week after the end of the season, that the fat man will have them secured well before the necessary time and there is no doubt they will have their eyes open and ready to the possibilities out there.
15. Christopher O'Riley plays Radiohead - soothing solo piano versions of tom and the boys.
16. Football, politics and religion all conversation starters, you should know that Mayor.
17. Tart? was she? I though it was a well know fact she actually wasn't a tart and that's what made it all the more ridiculous! Anyway not my music and thus I have a bad attitude to it and can't answer the question especially when you say australia has a tarnished reputation, everyone knows were just to busy with mardi gras to polish the silver. Happy face, grand master flash is all I can think of but I know that is incorrect. Brian May's guitar just go to the I bought a new guitar thread for the answer and lastly get off your high horse (or is that crazy horse?)
18. Aye maybe but at least the old e is keeping me from the alzheimer's some are developing http://www.toontastic.net/forum/index.php?...indpost&p=59855
19. John Howard is actually just like Mr Garrison off South Park. He'd like the world to think he's the one with his hand up the puppet's arse but really he is the puppet! Fucking hate him, I think I'd be happier with Blair
20. Oh that's right lets all gang up on the stoopid australian that actually made an effort to help unlike you eurovision promise everything deliver nothing or you U2 are the most influencial band in the world, ever, fact, types!
21. No I mean the 52nd. The the have already claimed the UK as the 51st state, so thus we are next. Don't forget Iraq 53rd and soon to be Iran 54th. Sorry steve I know it's not your fault but it just a little out of control at the moment, don't you think? 98994 Talk about stating the obvious. Don't forget about 50% don't agree with the shit that is going on in the US. Anyhow, before you get on yer high horse, Australia has its bomb hunting dolphin squad and other soldiers in Iraq, not so (750 men)? And the UK has about 10,000 troops. People in glass houses and all that...... On the topic of salary caps etc, it could work if it were UEFA wide I feel. I think players outside of UEFA area would still come and play, as even with caps the salaries earned would still be higher than in the likes of Brazil & Argentina. Also, salary caps would force teams to use the academy set up more widely, to bring through youngsters, as well as buying lower league players. I think it could work.... 99022 I know that, actually I have a mate who was there as part of the bomb disposal squad. He thought he was invincible before he went, he knows he's not now. As for the glass house comment, remember who put us there and why. Politicians of smaller countries/economies (and this includes the UK now - Royal Britannia ruling the waves no longer exists) will always support their meal ticket, especially when it is run by a vindictive little man. Look, like the states, they have salary caps on all the football codes here but they get around it by providing extras (housing/cars/credit cards) or by "employing" them and paying them a wage for their extra contribution. There are ways around it and clubs like Chelsea with extra funds will still come out on top. Back to Bush:
