Getting engaged young always seems to be a mistake in my experience. I know a few lasses who have been engaged a few times in their life without really having the intention of seeing in through. A lass I work with got engaged at 17, 5 months into a relationship with her fella who she told me had been asking her out for the last 18 months. Honestly how is that going to work? If it took him 18 months to grind her down and her to finally agree to it I can't see solid foundations for marriage (where obviously they claim to be prepared to spend the rest of their lives together).

I have to disagree with a few things. One its no suprise they were all black because they were focusing on a smalls number of groups (although I am fairly sure one of them was chinese which I wouldn't class as black). Doesn't mean you don't get white "gangstas" just they were obviously in a part of London and a group of people who just hung around with a majority of black friends. I also don't think their only interest was to become a "gangsta". Their was a cockyness and a bit of arrogance about them but they are 15 and being interviewed on tv! All childish bravado (sp?). If they wanted to be in a gang I am sure they would have joined one, the whole programme was about 2 kids trying to get by without joining gangs but having to be fairly close to the whole culture to feel safe in obviously very dangerous area's. No shock this was all missed because of what they wore and how they spoke though. Young, black and dressed like a charver must mean they are wannabe "gangstas" though right?

If you were leaving your job and you had the contractual right to a 'pay off', i'm pretty sure you wouldn't ignore it either. Thing is we should just pay it tbh - all that's going to happen is we'll end up with a player on our books who doesn't want to be here. His contract is reducing and the amount of money we'll be able to command for him will reduce likewise. If he doesn't want to be here that much I am sure he will give in sooner or later. We (Sam) want him here more than he wants to be here.

We are selling him because HE wants to leave, how he has the cheek to expect a loyalty bonus because he didn't put it in writing is just crazy! If I was the club I would tell him straight, if you want to leave write off your bonus, if not then see you at training.

He didn't want to though. Our beloved chairman signed him as soon as Depo offered him to clubs (to stop Barca or Real getting him). I heard that aswell from a very good source, seems the whole "mate of Souness" thing was a smokescreen at the time. Don't let leazes/htl/ne5 hear that though
