World War 2 was the result of many individual events (inc WW1). i would doubt that any one man could stop the war from happening.

if i had a time machine that was actually practical to use (ie type in the date and time and push 'enter' and whooomf, your there) then i'd visit loads of 'times'. i'd visit loads of local areas at different times to see how much theve changed. obviously only the 'deluxe' model would be capable of travelling in time and space so from here in walkerville i could go to bethlehem in the year 1 AD and have shufty for a bloke called jesus. i'd watch the pyramids being built, visit the coliseum, watch a shakespere play. see loads of bands before they were famous not to mention make several 'investments' so that the '2006 me' could live in style. i'd watch mammoths graze, sit on top of the world trade centre buildings for a birds eye view of the planes coming in........theres bloody loads i'd do tbh. dont think i'd wanna visit the future though.

I may not have any sense, but I just bought a blu-ray burning laptop for the simple reason that it can hold lots (50gb) of data on one disc. As far as I know, you can't yet buy a computer that can burn - not just play - HD-DVD, so that decided it for me. I'm not even that bothered if HD-DVD eventually "wins", because the blu-ray discs will always be compatible with my computer, and that'll do me for the next 3 years or so. Are you sure about that?

It's actually a misnomer, it's unsolicited commercial email (UCE), but that doesn't have much of a ring to it. I think spamming was originally something that involved pretending your email was from a different source address than it really was, which a lot of spammers do/did. But now even search engine results are considered "spammy" if there's a lot of commercial junk there. Googles fecking shite now cos of that. and all the fake websites that are created for the results.

i still use my hotmail address that ive had for years. at the moment i get around 5 or 6 spam emails per day though this does increase and decrease.

You know this will probably open up that can of worms labelled 'wrongly convicted' but when things like this happen to confessed criminals I can't help but think they should all be allowed to have at each other. Think about it- lower the prison population, act as a deterent... come on... most of the population wouldn't look at being arse raped as a plus, and I'm sorry if I can't help but say that someone of that caliber deserves all the pain they reap considering all the pain they caused. already happens - in a lot of prisons the guards will actually turn a blind eye and will only step when things threaten to get out of hand.
