I'm really getting so disillusioned with Mike Ashley and his 'staff' right now it's starting to bother me a lot. When Keegan arrived it looked like perhaps, with the backing of a billionaire, we'd be heading in the right direction... but are we? Yes, Ashley cleared the debts, but will that win us anything or put the team at the right end of the table? You don't make money without spending it in football and from what I can see Ashley is a tight as a gnat's chuff. We haven't got the luxury to not offer players the going rate on wages because money is our only pull right now - we have one of the smallest squads in the league and we're struggling to get anyone in. Did we really need to employ Dennis Wise? He's done nothing that warrants his position as far as I can tell, scouting for the youth team might be a job that needs doing but I think we have more pressing matters like getting back to the right end of the table and getting amongst the teams who sit around 5th to 8th place and we're not going to do that with youth players. Come on Fat Boy, spend your cash you tight-arsed southern ponce.

To be fair I've got to agree with Jay, things are shite at present - there really is an air that we've fucked up once again but this time we have no excuse of Fat Freddy being in charge - Ashley is getting worse by the day as far as I can see. We're going to struggle next season as it is, by not getting things sorted prior to the first game of the new season we're shooting ourselves in the foot with a bad start before a balls been kicked - I know we like to make life hard for ourselves but I'm rapidly losing faith in Ashley bringing any form of glory days or even exciting football back to this club.

I don't see what the problem is to be honest, just a team showing interest in a player, regardless of which team. The difference between this and the Ronaldo situation is Real Madrid are constantly banging on about it without making a bid, I thought Man Utd had actually made a bid? Also I don't see Madrid as being better than Man Utd, whereas Man Utd and Liverpool are both better than Spurs, just natural progression for the player to be honest - IF they want to move on.

I hate living in the south sometimes. Surrounded by Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelski and Spuds fans all taking the piss - weirdly the Arsenal fans seem the worst for the mickey taking as they see themselves as the god given real champions of the premiership, just that circumstance has got in the way for them recently apparently. Going by what they spout you'd think the had won the league for many years in a row and it's only of late that they've managed to win fuck all, still they feel obliged to rib my team and take the piss out of Alan Shearer winning nothing. I'm all for banter but it stings that I've got nothing to throw back at them (apart from the Spuds of course), it'd be great to get back to winning ways - of the four teams I've mentioned I could only say that I think of Man Utd as a true footballing giant in the world, Chelsea have bought their success and that's been only recent, Arsenal are the perennial European wannabes. It's not looking like things are going to change for us much any time soon, I can live in hope though - I just want something, anything that I can defend my team with when getting abuse! Baaaah!
