  1. Or you can stand for 19 Yeah but you don't get beer brought to your seat then. I was just illustrating its what people spend on other things at matchday which is probably the difference now under Ashley. I get the feeling people are spending a lot less on variables. A good comparison is that hsv ticket prices are more or less where Spurs prices are. Hamburg is the richest city in Germany. The commercial revenue's are much bigger in Germany as well aren't they??, I seem tor recall reading something somewhere that commercially Bayern blow even Man U out the water. T'was the rambler (again) (Even Shalke are "close" !!!)
  2. By a mile, he's been charging £4.5 Mill interest on his loans every year, until 09/10 when an additional £7.7 Million in "management fees" appeared on top of his loan interest. (source - the Ramble) Not sure what last year showed. European games are the big contributor to additional revenue, from exposure and importantly more games = more gameday dosh.
  3. Why didn't you post ANYTHING on here between 17th August and 3rd December? Wouldn't consider using the word fickle in that glass house of yours pal. ISP problems have effected Mackemville, but now obviously getting fixed, more and more mackems returning to NUFC boards.
  4. Gordon Lee, decent record but not a popular bloke, for several reasons http://www.toon1892.co.uk/detail_manager.php?id=12
  5. Difference in ave attendance last season to this: 2022 Liverpool 1207 Newcastle United 1162 Manchester City 769 Wigan Athletic 670 Bolton Wanderers 375 Stoke City 360 Tottenham Hotspur 335 Fulham 281 Manchester United 205 Chelsea -81 Arsenal -125 West Bromwich Albion -1705 Sunderland -2183 Wolverhampton Wanderers -2667 Blackburn Rovers -2992 Aston Villa -3006 Everton
  6. Pretty similar reasons under both Ashley and Hall. I hope you aren't going to start saying the first reign of Keegan was a waste of time etc like Toonpack and a few others do ? More lies
  7. If Spurs do a job on the dippers tonight, I'll gladly (well not really "gladly") take a tonking at the weekend.
  8. Two actually The second part of my user name would be the hint. Will you still support the Queens when they're in LA ????
  9. Be good if he was in the nick before next saturday.
  10. I've read another report saying it's McLeish he's had a go at. If that's true it's a disaster for Villa. That's what I've heard, supposedly told McLeish to fuck off at half time, Petrov evidently had a similar go when N'Zogbia was sub'd.
  11. I can understand his hesitancy to a point, he's shit quick and until now (the arrival of Cisse) if he just went straight for the byline there'd be no fucker in the box. Now however Pardew should be telling him just fucking go for the byline straight away, no thinking just do it, get to line and fire it across. Now there's someone in the team who may arrive in the box with pace. How many times have we seen balls played into the box and no bugger there this season. He's still a relative bairn as well, if he's no better next season, then's the time to "have a go" at him. Way too soon just now.
  12. Spot on Deaders, he's been an usung hero this season.
  13. It's becoming a flaaaaaaaaaaaaash in the pan. Great finish by Demba2, when he fully adjusts to the game (his offside habit) he's gonna be a handfull, good feet as well. Perch very fit to wear the shirt today. Guthrie a total revelation. They don't half put you through it though, dropped WAY deep in that last 5 mins. February, equal with Chelsea, above Arsenal and the victims, fucking hell
  14. I can tell you haven't been in the playground lately. Do you monitor playgrounds closely Leazes ??
  15. He's doing a shite job at that mind. Those two words should have followed "tick".
  16. That bit highlights your ignorance, if the minor shareholder happens to be the Chairman, yes they make the major decisions, and it happens all the time. The Chairman is in charge of EVERYTHING day to day, hiring, firing, aquiring new assetts etc.Just keep the share price OK and the Dividends rolling in and a majority shareholder will not even show his face.
  17. They didn't btw Original outlay was a loan from Cameron Hall Ltd, to the club, at around 6% interest. Was a leveraged buy out.
  18. The statement in itself is what I believe. Cassidy's words, in that statement, portray my belief. That's it, as far as I am concerned. Aye, as you've said. It doesn't make you look any less stupid though. Just so you know. Like I give a fuck tbh
  19. The statement in itself is what I believe. Cassidy's words, in that statement, portray my belief. That's it, as far as I am concerned.
  20. Point one answered numerous times Point two answered numerous times Point 3 Laughable, to go biblical for a moment : "Physician heal thyself"
  21. Irrelevant!, that statement, "quotation", eloquently conveys my opinion on the matter, no more no less. The statement as of and in itself is what I believe. What surrounds the wider opinion of Mr Cassidy is of no consequence in respect to my opinion. BTW I do read about the club, well the aspects which interest me from time to time, just not in books, plenty of sources of information these days. The club is in inestimably better hands today than it was previously, could be MUCH better, I accept. To be honest, what the fuck else do I need to know, NUFC plays football matches which either make me feel elated or pissed off, my only interest is that the balance between the former and the latter is towards the former. I have been feeling "up or down" courtesy of NUFC since the mid 60's my interest is only that it continues to be "the best it can be". Couldn't really give a fuck otherwise. P.S. Books can be missleading, you say SJH knew nowt about KK's first appointment, KK himself in his book states SJH rang him and "sold him the dream" (I haven't read that book either, but saw the quotation).
  22. :icon_lol: you sound more and more like macbeth every day, who also stated that a million quid a year or so had a huge impact on our failure to win the title. He probably backs the disappearance of 25m quid of the Carroll transfer fee too, just like you. Have you answered what I asked you about your own sig yet ? Waste of time debating anything with you tbh, you're clueless. Just like macbeth. Who the fuck is MacBeth ??? Btw, where'd the other £2 Mill go ??????? and yes I did, I always answer questions, unlike you.
  23. Shepherd never owned the club mate. Wait and see if your man even qualifies for europe and the Champions League half as much as the Halls and Shepherd before you make daft comparisons, and he is 4 years down already. He was the Chairman therefore he was "in charge" day to day, his shareholding is completely and utterly irrelevant.
