He didn't dive, he just stumbled, according to Kenny

Perchenbauer tbh

I look on the Wolves and Mackems matches as 4 points dropped tbh T'is a fair point, but we murdered Manu U, which we do once in a blue moon, so that 3 points just about cancels those out (from a disappointment pov, for me anyway).

Didn't he get the boot

Would doubt Cisse's in that, year end was June I would guess it refers to the summer window only, the "associated costs" are likely agent fees etc relating to Ba and maybe Marveaux

He's a guy that gets more pleasure out of being right on the internet than seeing the team do well, he's even gone as far as posting smilies after West Brom equalised in the final game of last season meaning we finished in the bottom half. I don't think he's got any pleasure out of this season and won't until Mike Ashley matches all of the finishes the club had under Keegan and Robson. He likes to tell you about it too, preferably as often as possible in as many different threads as possible. He likes to say he's right, he's not been right about anything yet. -
Erm.... Murdered, raped, enslaved, exploited minorities etc etc Always find it interesting hove those who are "humanist" deride religion which was the very catalyst for said humanity. All of those things have happened in the name of religion too, what's the common theme? Are you being interested by your belief that civilisation can only occur because of religion? Unprovable without a time machine, and you could argue religion has destroyed plenty along the way. Animals readily organise themselves into civilisations, for the greater good of all. How did these get going? Men and women have self organised into civilised society dozens perhaps even thousands of times all over Earth throughout thousands or indeed tens of thousands of years. There may have been numerous different religious elements to these systems, they may have been there at the beginning or developed as the result of having time to consider such matters by being freed from living hand to mouth, but what was the common theme through time and space? People. They create civilisations, they create religions, they create gods. Even if it were so that our invention of religion provided us with a stepping stone to civilisation it has also built walls between civilisations, literally, and ones that will seemingly never topple. If we could objectively acknowledge this phenomena for what it is we could begin to unpick the damage it does in today's society. But as it is closely associated with peoples' desire for meaning, love for their departed and the fact they have so much invested in it it would require such monumental effort, courage and determination, on an individual and group level, it's likely a lost cause. This makes me wonder if this happens with all intelligent civilisations or if any have broken free of this initial explanation tether. If they have perhaps they'd consider telling us how they did it, if we weren't still interested in blowing eachother, and most likely them, to Kingdom Come. Sorry but saying animals have developed civilisations for the good of all, nature is the most tribal and brutal "thing" on the planet. I'd also question these self developed human civilisations over tens of thousands of years, can't think of any that we're "humane" or all encompasing and without walls. Mankind is by nature a cunt and always will be, civilisations don't last, neither will ours which happens to be the most tolerant in history I would suggest.

Erm.... Murdered, raped, enslaved, exploited minorities etc etc Always find it interesting hove those who are "humanist" deride religion which was the very catalyst for said humanity. What the fuck? The Crusades, Jihad, Sectarianism in Iraq and Ireland, the Spanish Inquisition, enslaving of the Jews, rampant child abuse... Yeah, religion has been a fucking excellent yardstick for morals! Probably put us back at least 1000 years socially! Do you understand what a catalyst is?? Given even with religion mankind has a propensity to commit awfull acts, where'd mankind be without it ?? Put us back 1000 years is laughable, how humane was mankind before Christianity grew up, as an example. Any definition of morals in the western world evolved from the ten commandments, where else did humanity come from?? There was no "humane" society before, damn sure there wouldn't be without it. Look at nature, survival of the fittest in action. Mankind has to a point risen above that, if not religion what was the catalyst??

Plus 27 new jobs created in admin and commercial. ..........................and not a penny taken out in salary, dividend or interest on loans. What's not to like. -
Aye, but we went on and won the fucker. Champs League (or Champions Trophy) was just the winners in them days, Fairs Cup was a HUGE thing to win.
-
No mention of knocking ambitions HF (or maybe you should be called Leazes-Lite) . Always thought it would define his policy/strategy, but, in my assesment of that I was wrong, I thought lack of spend would indicate he'd start recouping his losses, he didn't recoup at all.
-
go for the truth. I can't help it if they can't take it. Are you saying people should get banned for having an opinion ? What if time proves it to be indisputably correct ? This time last year, Toonpac was saying re. the Carroll cash, "wait until after the summer deadline" before knocking the ambitions. No I wasn't

Oh aye, they all are, think only us and Chelsea have settled so far. There's also reportedly 8 or 9 likely to get a kicking over the EBT's business if HMRC win their case against Rangers. Outside of the UEFA fair play malarkey, hopefully HMRC kick the shit out of football, so that everyone has to operate correctly.
-
I don't think we are really in the ''Champions League run in'' but if we are - & we get beat on monday - that'll put an end to it. Yep, of course if we win............................ I fear a good old fashioned mullering personally.
-
Similar thing though ain't it ?? was reported in the Torygraph the other day, no amount but evidently less than the contingent liability held in last years accounts (which I can't find).
-
I thinkthat "furtherdown theroad" was a short road timewise tbh On the tax, apart from the one we've just settled with HMRC for historical EBT's, amount not yet known/confirmed. (saw a report the other day, can't recall where dammit!!) Rangers (on EBT's) are looking at another £48Mill debt landing if they lose the "big tax case" as it's called, that goes way back to Murray's time btw.

Players WILL be sold in the Summer - Llambias

95% of the time thats right. There is the odd time when the club fights off any offer and resists (Modric) but in most cases a daft offer is accepted (Carroll, Torres, Berbatov, Ronaldo) That's yet to play out I reckon, he still hasn't signed his sweetner "sorry we said no" contract. Calculated risk by Spurs (oh no Spurs again !!!) they reckoned they could get CL with him (not so much without him) so could afford to say no (and he was on a long deal), if they didn't get CL and the resultant money, almost the same as his fee would have been, they can still flog him later. -
WTF have Morrisons to do with anything, is that where you get your White Lightning from ??? Yeah and income is only worth a damn if your expenditure don't outstrip it. So in Leazes world NUFC going bust, getting -10 points etc. is fine because "at least they tried". That's really what you are saying isn't it.

Oh and on the thread title, every club is a selling club if the price is right. If someone offers north of £20 Mill for Tiote he'll be off, that's been the case forever, not just the last 24 hours. -

It did, I remember it. Then again, as a fan base we seemed to boo fairly regular. I recall the booing at the end of the 1-1 draw v Charlton before KD got sacked. I have never booed in my life at a game, or anyone I know, but we hear it. Then again, you manage expectation dont you? It is about expectation at that time not against something that might happen 10 years down the line. who said 10 years ? Do you know how long Mike Ashley is going to own the club ? I don't, but I'm confident enough when I say that despite those saying "we are doing it like Spurs" we will not match Spurs nor the old owners [who DID do what Spurs are doing ie backing their manager] At least you accept that expectations have been lowered. Some idiots have been saying for over 4 years now that this is not the case and that statement when it was made was rubbish. IF the "old owners" had even the slimmest glimmer of a chance to repeat what they did in the early years of their tenure, you may have a slightest glimmer of a point. They didn't, you haven't. -

First bit, probably true, but I'm not a sad "no-life outside of NUFC" thicko like you and yer old mentor. We all know you are the uber-est of uber geordie NUFC fans. The rest is bollocks. Anyhow, how any of that supports your shite argument is beyond me. I've asked you to show me how it totals £25.6m, and I'd also like to see how the figures beyond that detailed in yesterday journal show a net spend of £3m (including the Carroll money). You can't/won't do it. Haven't seen the full accounts yet. Bottom line - club is in a hugely healthy position on and off the field, what's not to like ????? -
was 14th in the world when your man bought the club........ And the losses/interest payments/outgoings were .................................. (Rangers-esque is the answer)

It'll be in the accounts. Transfer dealings are not a single seperate sum you doilem it's all part of the greater whole. In other words you haven't got a clue what you're talking about you old divvy. The club are saying transfer dealings totalled £25.6m for the period I'm asking you how? If Ashley stabbed you in the eye you'd find some excuse for the cunt. We'll see the "sums" when we see the accounts. As for having a clue, am surprised you know what day it is tbh.
