  1. I'm sorely tempted to get one of these. It'll be fake as fuck but as near as damn it to one of the best NUFC shirts ever produced. Retro Newcastle LS Home Shirt 1980/1982 | Club Retros
  2. Got fuck all to do with misogyny and everything to do with you being unable to express yourself without an excel chart! I take it that's a yes then? Quality foreplay mate, she's a lucky girl...
  3. Did you bamboozle Mrs Fish with multiple excel charts illustrating when she was most likely to conceive?
  4. That's a shame. They definitely were the first to go into that market but clubs themselves and more recently, mass production online stores from the far east have consumed the market space. They were based in the North East IIRC so I suppose when the NUFC deal was lost (presumably another Ashley masterpiece), the writing was on the wall.
  5. I (and many of you on here) grew up in a time when historical information about football clubs was less prevalent. NUFC in particular were lucky that in Paul Joannou, they had someone dedicated to chronicling the club's history for upcoming generations to learn. Can't remember if he was behind it, but my parents bought be the Newcastle United Souvenir Album which was released around the time of the 1984 promotion season. It covered the period from the 50s cup wins right up to the 83/84 promotion campaign and definitely gave you an insight into the 50s in particular. That's where I first heard the name Robledo and then spent my team reading numerous books by Joannou to flesh that knowledge out further. These days it's of course readily available on the internet, but there's so much info available, people are less likely to absorb the detail.
  6. Paul Goddard had a white square under his number 9 tbf (2nd season)
  7. TBH as much as I'd want stripes on the back, it's never been easy to decipher the numbers from any sort of distance. It should be no more than a plain square big enough to just accommodate the number though - the whole back being a plain colour is shit.
  8. Didn't SMO claim someone started working with him called Manmeet Gobla?
  9. At least it's not the cat's breakfast.
  10. If it's the same arseholes then it doesn't matter a jot how up to date the systems are, they're employing old-fashioned impersonation tactics to get people to reveal personal information - login details, passwords, 2FA codes, etc.
  11. I read that earlier. Never realised the records Robledo held. First South American in the English league & the most goals by an overseas player, which stood for 50 years.
  12. Co-op definitely were done, Sainsburys too most likely.
  13. Leaked images from JD stock room apparently.
  14. Coming from the "Queen of Excel"?! Anyway fuck all to do with my role - I'm service delivery. I leave that shit to the nerds.
  15. These dickheads who cyber attacked M&S came after us last night. Thankfully their target was switched on enough to know it was hooky but it seems any British brand who has posted decent financial results in recent months is on their hit list. Utter cunts
  16. Inside 3 years he’s scored against every current PL club. There’s only two (Leeds and Luton) who he hasn’t scored against.
  17. Yeah that's a valid point. Forest should win on Sunday. Chelsea and Us can't both take 3 points so either Forest would draw level with both of us, or leap ahead of one of us.
  18. You think? I thought aside from the last 10 mins they were the better team, the penalty was against the run of play - they definitely deserved a point. I noticed as well that Yates & Hudson-Odoi aside, their injuries have been dealt with.
  19. This one is crying out for a special BDB goal. I'd love to see Livramento get one against them as well - leaving them to rue the day they let him go.
  20. Exactly this. Of all the 'six pointers' we've even be involved in, this one is huge. There are two things that leave me a bit more positive about it - - Villa play ahead of us this weekend and it's away to Bournemouth. Can easily see them dropping points in that one. - Chelsea will have a second 'six pointer' to deal with. I still think it'll end with us, Arsenal, Man City & Forest finishing top 5. Our point was massive, but so too was Forest's last night.
  21. Aye my favourite seasons over all the years were 92/93 & 93/94. Few gave us any chance when we were promoted and we absolutely stormed that first season in the Prem - it was an absolute joy to watch. And I get the sentiments being shared about winning the cup - it's the only time this club has reduced me to tears and even watching it back it stokes the same emotion. We will never eclipse that feeling because the enormity of it was the length of time we'd been waiting for it. As Clery said it means more that we did it when we did, and with the players we did.
