No chance. If it's anything like you it'll have a breakdown every 5 mins.

Haven't you got a dismembered rabbit to deal with?

Conversely he's considered on of the best strikers in Europe and is coveted by several of the leading clubs. If we can't provide him with CL football and the likes of Barcelona go on the hunt for him, I'd expect his exit would be inevitable. I said back in March before the Cup Final that if you asked me what was more important, winning silverware or qualifying for the CL, I'd struggle to answer. Winning the cup was such an emotional experience, it was important in terms of the decades this club have been devoid of success. But most important for the future, is definitely CL qualification. The Partizan Belgrade penalty shoot-out failure in 2003 is seared into memory. We went on a hell of a run in the UEFA Cup that year, but ultimately we lost ground on those teams around us. We need to avoid that happening again.

I'll be 48 this July. My eldest isn't far off the age I was when I first set eyes on Phil Craig's version of this board - wasn't it on 'linuxdriven' or something like that? Horrendously unstable at times.

Villa v Spurs has been brought forward 2 days on account Spurs want to avoid it being so close to the Europa League final. Getting ahead of themselves - come on Bodo/Glimt!! -
Agree with this, and for all the reasons you state. I'm not CT levels of shitting myself about us having to win every game, but missing out on the CL will be more than a passing disappointment. Especially as it's highly likely that one of Spurs or Man Utd seem set to be in it next season. Having got ahead of both those fuckers at last, we don't need to be giving them the opportunity to get past us again.
-
The issue is he's too good not to play in the CL and whilst he clearly loves it here, you wouldn't blame him for agitating the move that would provide him with that - it's more likely we'd have a line up of clubs come for him if we don't get over the line so for me, it's imperative we do so. And while we would command a massive fee for him, there's no guarantee it would get reinvested as effectively. So for me I have absolutely no desire of a Europa League adventure. It'd be a massively disappointing end to the season.

The issue we have is that ending up in the Europa League may result in losing key players. If by adventure you mean we stand a better chance of winning it, yep we do ... with the squad we currently have, but if dropping into that competition means Isak is on his way? No thanks...

You were a mere whipper-snapping 16yo when we brought this place together. Out of the 5 of us who had voodoo dolls made up by N-O, I'm the last remaining one to post with any regularity. And when it comes down to skeletons, I think we probably assume that some of the older members are sadly no longer with us, and I know of two regular members in and around our generation who have definitely passed away.

Terry Mac was some player - it's easy to overlook his influence to that team but was definitely part of the master plan. Seen that clip a few times and whilst it's fabulous to see, my skin crawls when our fans are singing YNWA.

You have to bring Gemmill into the conversation? -
Quansah. Fucking useless. They’ve absolutely laid down for these arseholes. Protecting the top table once again
-
They should be docking the cunts some points for these antics. It reeks
-
Not sure on what basis he’s saying it’s been rejected, could be the adidas originals effort for next season. They should slap PL badges on it and make it the home offering. Class effort
-
Fucking Scouse cunts. If they want to play fringe players because they’ve won the league then do so, but not against teams challenging for the CL.
-
That's the Yorkshire stream for you... days behind.

I still think they might edge it, but it's going to be a close call. I've had a close eye on them for obvious reasons and whilst they've got a solid XI, their squad is paper thin. They've barely been troubled with injuries until now and Aina is a big miss for them - his link up play with Elanga has been immense.

University of Liverpool clearly pissy about Gary Neville's comment that he'd never felt Wembley shake when Dan Burn scored .... against Liverpool. -
Started off well didn't it? Missus is not happy and reckons the wheels are fully coming off ....
