Low oven, or deep oven?

6th one for me. Only went to one of those - '98 against Sheff Utd which was quite scrappy IIRC. The following year we smashed Spurs and then 12 months later I still cannot get my head around how we didn't beat Chelsea. The fairytale was 2004 in the UEFA Cup. I swear if it hadn't been for a combo of Woodgate's injury and Drogba we'd have got to the final. 2005 FA Cup I've largely forgotten about.

TBH I should imagine any player who hasn't got the discipline to show up for training will feature extremely low on any shortlist the likes of Howe & Ashworth are drawing up. Irrespective of how good they are.

I agree to an extent, but listening to that press conference where Howe specifically talks about how he's not been in full training yet and has been mainly reliant on what he's getting on the pitch to work on his fitness, I can't see how he'll start him.

That's the thing, like. If we're serious about reaching the Cup Final, and Eddie's press conference left you in absolutely no doubt that he is, why would we not put out a full strength team? I don't expect any changes from the starting lineup on Saturday. Maxi & Isak will get their opportunities, but it'll be from the bench.
