  1. Spence can be a bit of a cunt by all accounts. That shit needs to be saved to the dressing room. Go acknowledge the fans FFS, they’ve paid to watch the shit you’ve just served up.
  2. I remember Peacock wanting a move back to London but that was down to having a disabled son and wanting to be nearer his family
  3. That lad is gonna be dead before he gets a haircut.

    Wissa

Those Scouse cunts who were laughing and saying it was karma that Wissa got injured after we encouraged him to hound himself out of Brentford (we didn't of course). Wouldn't it be beautiful if a) he's available before the rat is and b) he belts 2-3 goals on his first outing.
  5. Goddard was an insanely underrated player IMO. It's him, not a certain young lad from Dunston, we missed the most following the summer exodus of 1988. I'm sure I read somewhere it was to do with his missus being homesick yet rather than end up back in London they went to Derby!
  6. Yeah I've got a database too ... called Gusto
  7. The end of 86/87 was really enjoyable because of that purple patch Goddard went on. IIRC we all knew Beardsley was on his way in the summer and if memory serves me right, he'd gone massive off the boil that season.
  8. Yeah he did - 7 in a row which stood for years. I think Ferdinand beat it in 1995.
  9. This whole "our city is better than yours" rhetoric flies largely over my head these days. I'm indifferent to it principally from the position that it's not up for debate. They want to argue the Empire Theatre is 'superior' to the Theatre Royal? They're welcome to think what they like just as I'm welcome to not agree with them and not need to challenge my blood pressure by getting worked up about something they're never going to be put right on.
  10. Gets fun when they go from non-competitive to competitive (into U12s IIRC). Parents getting the arse because you no longer have to give them all equal time.
  11. We probably all know mags who are absolute cunts as well tbf
  12. Knew there was something about her I liked I'm not one of those who had a strong opinion on the royal family. I suppose I accept they're there and if they are to remain, it needs to be on better terms that it has been. There's a need for change and I get a sense William in particular is keen to do so.
  13. Its all bollocks man. I'm sure many of us, if not all of us have mates or acquaintances who are Mackems. I do and I've got a couple of work colleagues who are as well. They're not sub-human they're thoroughly decent people, we just don't align on footballing allegiances that's all. Would any of us make those allegiances the focus of a wedding reception? Maybe fleetingly, and in jest but the main event?! Get fucked man!
  14. One of the things I like about Eddie is he's constantly learning - the 2023 cup final being a great example of that. I have no doubt the previous CL campaign - his first don't forget AND the 'group of death' was used as a massive learning point in that you need a squad for the CL, not just a team. The squad we've assembled since has quietly gone under the radar against the backdrop of Isak being a fanny but it's considerably stronger than it was 24 months ago. And this is despite having at the PSR nonsense to contend with as well! I think it's less about unwillingness to rotate and more a case of him having little option given the resources at his disposal.
  15. BTW I think William has likely heavily influenced the steps they've taken against Andrew, if not demanded them. That interview he did with Eugene Levy suggested the plan is for him to have far more influence as heir apparent than his Dad did.
  16. Mental, wasn't it? It seems to be a practice that didn't pass to the next generation - unless Kate was planted in St Andrews deliberately. The Middleton's were also not considered 'atristocratic' either were they?
  17. And yet retains his lineage to the throne. Ridiculous.
  18. She clearly realises you can’t absorb what’s right in front of you also. Brains from her mother evidently.
  19. Is he going by a symbol from now on?
  20. Watching Liverpool FC implode in recent times is highly enjoyable - would recommend.
