agreed, my mate nextdoor got the astroturf ptch, i got the working floodlights, scoreboard, loads of tv crew etc, i remember getting a pub pool table for home (dont ask!!) i was about 8-9 at the time, and painted white lines on with tipex, it was class! my awld man bollocked me though I had them.... my pyromaniac brother set fire to them though
  3. Says a lot about .cock's opinions of the payroll that were there before May like...
  4. I wonder if our "New signings!!!!!!!" are going to include Leighton Baines. "Once the coach is full; it's full!!" Apart from being blindingly obvious, why the semi-colon??!! Talk about the scattergun approach to grammar He can't even blame it on the grammar check in MS Word this time
  5. Id buy it, id give them a fiver for it to My point was more along the lines of it hardly being inconspicuous...
  6. Once the coach is full it's full?? Fucking hell man, you've no chance of filling that! As smog says, they're wanting £50 for the journey - cheaper to drive and park, shirley?
  7. Would you be happy with him as Spurs manager? He was a good servant to Spurs in the past. Great in the 67 cup final for us apparently...bit before my time mind. Why does it have to be an ex player? You excel spectacularly at shooting yourself in the foot at times...
  8. Who the fuck is going to be able to sell an Olympic medal?? Admittedly the shirts will probably get passed on, but the medal? Aye I know - it'll be melted down...
  9. I think it will be Shearer, with someone (possibly Kinnear) providing an advisory role. One thing I'm absolutely convinced about is that it won't be Kevin Keegan. That time has gone.
  10. So Cacapa makes a mistake and he shouldn't be allowed near the team ever again yet Taylor can fuck up week after week and I suppose its ok for him to be back in the squad next week? Scapegoat-tastic The majority of the team were fucking woeful. No... you're missing my point entirely. Steven Taylor is gash IMO, yet for some reason, if he's fit, seems to get in the squad week in, week out without fail. Yesterday provided an ideal opportunity, for someone (Cacapa in this event) to offer cast-iron evidence as to why Taylor should be over-looked. He failed to prove it IMO. Aside from that, my reasons for not selecting him again go beyond the 90 mins yesterday. Whenever he's played I don't think our back 4 have ever had an ounce of confidence. Sadly don't rate him despite having high hopes when he came from Lyon. Well up until the infamous Pompey game where the media labelled him the new Bramble/Boumsong alot of people rated him. This thread in particular.. http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...5&hl=cacapa Aye he had a howler that game and who knows if he we carrying a knock or not as had been said afterwards but I believe that he got back into the squad against Fulham and picked up the Man of the Match. He then went on to not see much 1st team football under Keegan as Taylor and Faye were first choice centre backs and then this season again with Colo and Taylor. Don't get me wrong I am not fighting his corner to be a 1st team starter week in, week out I just fully believe that he has not made half the howlers he supposedly has, and has become yet again another centre back scapegoat for us... Fair do's... How times change, eh? He never set the world alight for me but reading back on those comments (Sima's in particular!) it's amazing how people's perception has changed. With regards to Taylor though, I thought you knew me better than that Ritchie. The way he gets in the team every fucking week drives me mad. He's no better than Kevin Scott ever was.

  12. Cacapa had the perfect opportunity today to show why Steven Taylor isn't deserving of automatic selection when fit. Unfortunately he blew it apart and for my mind, shouldn't be considered for selection again. Quite why we sold Faye in the summer and not him is completely beyond me (and Keegan I don't doubt). As for the penalty well it was all the way - none of this 'Cacapa was nudged off the ball', he's a centre half FFS, he should be braying the likes of featherweights like Andy Johnson. Michael Owen managed to ensure that he'll remain out of Fabio's squad in the immediate future too. Shame about the match today like because, like last Monday, I think we were all over them after we'd scored and the game was there for the taking. Still reckon we were the better side in the second half but FFS, when are we going to have a match where we play in the first 30 mins? They should have been about 3 or 4 up at half time for sure!
  13. Really? Where is this evidence? Rob fucking runs SPOTY man...

  15. Are you going to sell my email address to the world again if I fill this one out?
  16. Kristall would definitely be my drink of choice on a night out in Jormany. Tastes a bit strange over here, but that's no doubt all in the head. Has the correct way to pour it into a glass reached England yet? Were you giving the English bar staff hell the last time you were over then?
  17. They sell Duval in the Morrisons by me. I have been scared of it up until now (8%) but if you say it tastes alright. I think your original perception was bang on Alex...
  18. Continental lager man? I like continental lager if it's decent stuff. I also like Belgian beers (the blond ones in general), wheat beers and you can't whack a nice pint of Guiness (a shit pint of it is awful though). I quite like the occasional Brown Ale as well and stuff like Smitheck's (sp?) and London Pride is nice as well. Sorry if that's crushed your stereoptype. I terms of ales, I'll drink Guinness London Pride Bombardier Theakstons Old Perculiar (shite) Timothy Taylor's 'Landlord' The rest, you can keep. FYP. Which part of the "I'll drink" bit did you not understand Sammy?
  19. He's finally gone cuckoo?

  21. Fosters is the only 'piss beer' i can find locate some taste buds to accept. But even that has to be on a baking hot day when thirst outweighs palatability when there's no other alternative. The others I just won't even contemplate.
  22. On a what? Leo Sayer Take your cockney-rhyming slang and shove it up your arse. I take it with the same disdain with people who insist in talking in text speak... I have enough deal with wankers like you at work
  23. Becks Vier IS watered down Becks......
  24. Oh Jeez Tom, you really are as thick as two short planks aren't you? Don't be mean to Tom. He's vulnerable, remember? Bitter. Danke? Two letters away from being spot on. ? What German word is he thinking of then Wolfgang?
