  1. Read that again Yeah... and?
  2. i asked my lass the other night if, in all honesty, she thought Liverpool could win the league this season... Hand on heart she said no - thinks Chelsea will get it quite comfortably but that they'll be in a strong position to challenge next season IF they find a decent right-back and that Rafa learns to play his best XI available all the time. My concern is about the right-back. Both them and Man Utd are falling short in that position and Habib Beye isn't short of admirers...
  3. FWIW, I think far too many people believe that Ashley is as worse as it can get.... THAT in my mind, is a very narrow minded view. Hounding him out of the club is not the end goal. It's replacing him with someone better - and there is no guarantee that the next man to want to buy the club will be.
  4. Don't be so patronising you prick. I'm fully aware of what a recession is, and the implications. JFK confirmed Ashley had an offer, but he didn;t think this was enough money, so don't come out with crap that no-one is buying. In this market is it not Ashley who is being unrealistic with his asking price which by all accounts is in excess of what he paid. The objective of cancelling the DD should indicate to Ashley that he is getting no more money from Newcastle supporters and trying to force his hand in selling the club. At this point anybody would be better than Ashley - who could have dome more harm than this fat fool and his midget sidekick???? Emotional and ill informed- what a load of patronising nonsense- is appeasement always the best way????? How has anything that I have said ill informed???? Do you know what price he was offered??????? There is nothing ill informed about trying to force the worst owner in the history of NUFC out of the club. How emotional was that response? Just what we dont need right now. You didnt state what the second part of the plan was, the bit about how the next owner would be better. Ill informed as you clearly dont appreciate the impact of the financial crisis on the attractiveness of the club to investors. How patronising yet again. Just what who doesn't need - we - do you speak for everybody???? Don't try and be clever you just look smug, patronising and ignorant. There have been two offers for the club - how do you know that the next owner would not be better -could they be worse??? Ill Informed ???? What part is ill informed - the fact is we have had offers so therefore the club is attractive at a certain price - do you know what that price is??? I know what it should be - certainly no more than what Ashley paid for it, and possibly less due to the financial crisis. Unless you know what the offers were, and I'm sure you don't then you are the one making ill informed assumptions without all the facts. The plan is quite clear - get rid of an owner who clearly does not care one jot for the club or the supporters. If his investment is not going to make a profit, then with a bit of luck he will cut his losses and leave. Passion and emotion are what loyal supporters feel for their club - you apparently do not - I feel sorry for you in that case. I'll deal with you later. I'm sensing a carefully masterminded onslaught is materialising in Adam's mind...
  5. This thread says to me that on the contrary, some regulars need to take a long hard look at themselves and use the functionality that has been provided to them precisely for situations such as this. The 'ignore' function is not something we added just for the hell of it - it's there for a purpose. The 'poxy 2 week ban' may have ensured that no posts by the username 'DannyB' were made, but the bloke who logs on as him was still here. Do you get my drift?
  6. Ours is a fortnight on Thursday - Free meal, free room for the night, free bar.... Great until I remind you that it's a Thursday. And no, no leave can be booked on the Friday
  7. Are they public companies LM? If so I'd guess you'd be able to find out any info on the London Stock Exchange website.
  8. she needs a kick in the flaps tbh....
  9. Louise Taylor is digging this shit up again.... fucking whore

    Tom

Happy birthday mate..... (waiting from Brock to pop along with yet another 'Merry Birthday'....)
  12. Seeing as the Mido 'scandal' was her fucking baby last season, it's no surprise she's dragged it up again. This isn't the lass hassling you in the town the other night is it Tom?
  13. The bit in brackets is intriguing... The rest, you need to have a word with yourself Tom. Fucking sad life she's got like if she's doing that, and getting her mates to help out. Perhaps you need to point this out?
  14. I, for one, will be sad to see the back of Sima. Aye.... righto
  15. Looks like Stevie could well have been right, eh....
  16. That's the ultimate irony tbh... What we'll end up with is Kinnear as boss who is totally in control of transfers. Disgrace tbh

    Office 2007

I've got it at home too and got it free.... and when I can be arsed, 2003 will be going back on. It's over-controlling and shite! In fact Gemmill's said probably the most sensible thing he ever has
  18. No wonder you never show for our 5-a-side matches... Did you for the last one like? Nope... but then I have to do a 700 mile round trip for them.... I've done two - don't remember seeing Fishy turn up to either - made the piss up though
  19. No wonder you never show for our 5-a-side matches...

    network help

He'll have something as the Virgin modem has only one ethernet link. Virgin do seem to register accounts against one MAC address
  21. Anyone know what Swindon Mag does?
  22. that just made me think of DelBoy rubbing his hands saying Luvley Jubbley Dunno about anyone else but it makes me think of the song it's the lyrics from...
  23. tbh I'd much prefer to hear this than us just find out he's been extended each month. It's fairly evident he was going to be here as long as Ashley is at the helm - if we're honest, we can't expect much better in the current circumstances. If the club is sold in January, I don't doubt he'll be on his way at the same time.
  24. He's done 'em all man... Crash pilot for the space shuttle as well apparently....
