  1. Pretty much. I doubt anyone would talk about Spurs otherwise, or any more than other Prem clubs as it were. ha ha I suggest you look back to before I joined. I find it weird how obsessed Newcastle fans are. Are you clever enough to have done that on purpose? Hmm... I'm surprised you're even questioning that one...
  2. Venables is about as good as we can hope for under the current regime. No-one else is interested sadly which is why the current boardroom needs disbanding with ASAP. Looking at other managers at the moment is akin to Roeder going to scout Dirk Kuyt despite the fact he'd already signed for Liverpool - totally fucking pointless!
  3. Shocking. Is that sort of cheating , sorry 'gamesmanship', coming from Allaardyce? Isn't this the same bloke who went to ground a couple of weeks ago at Old Trafford and when interviewed by MOTD about it afterwards claimed that he was through on goal and would have scored so there was no point in diving and that he acknowledged some players dived and tried to con the ref, but that it wasn't something he wouldn't do... Aye righto..
  4. Echoes of Philippe Albert...
  5. Ironic that the two players flanking Dave while he's playing bass is Ossie and Chris Hughton - two people who lead NUFC during two periods of pathetic ownership.
  6. Only 3 I believe.... It's not 15 years.... it's over 17! Just realised that's pre-Premiership days!
  7. That's gotta be their heaviest home defeat in about 15 years!
  8. I''d love to be a fly on the wall in the Man Utd dressing room when Fergie gets in there...
  9. What's depressing more is the quality we've got ahead of them but who you just know are going to get fuck all service from the midfield.
  10. Liverpool going to do the double over Man Utd? How they must rue those home draws...
  11. Craig

    Steve Harper

'Clark Gable' looks nowt like Harper....
  12. I made the observation today that if Hamilton was anything other than English, he'd be more hated but the English F1 fraternity and press than Schumacher was. Button does himself no favours either - "look at me, i'm not in it for the money cos i took a pay cut... I'm in it for the driving" Should do what Senna did then and offer to drive for nothing then!
  13. Is it just me or is that 'official' site of his simply a blogspot page?
  14. The cock still talks shit even after the sack! It could happen but I'd not be putting any money on it.
  15. McLaren are definitely bullshitting IMO - lulling the opposition into a false sense of security and what have you... Bet they're out of the blocks like a whippet on March 29th. The Renault is good too - think Alonso is trying to do the same.
  16. That car is immense and I don't just mean for it due to being short on fuel. Got a couple of mates who live in Brackley and everyone in the town knows someone who works at the factory and they've all been gob-smacked by its potential long before they took to the track. The car is already 1.2s a lap quicker than last year - that's a lifetime. I doubt they'll be challenging for regular race wins but I reckon they'll be in the points regularly. McLaren are sand-bagging IMO although the car isn't as good as last years, i agree. They tend to take their time when there's major rule changes so they'll play catch up for a while. Smart money is on Renault IMO - that thing looks like shit off a shovel.
  17. It would be unbearable with us and Boro in the Championship and the Mackems in the Premiership!!! Echoes of the 90/91 season. The Hull game at the end of that season was a classic event though. Neither us nor them had anything to play for but if the Mackems lost at Man City, they were coming back down again. Bizarre watching the whole Gallowgate end erupt when the ball was nowhere near the goalmouth - Hull to their credit joined in and celebrate the Sunderland goals when they scored
  18. fantastic piece of work on both counts
  19. Pretty sure they can. Didn't they draw Chelsea in the quarters a few years back? They definitely can draw an English team in the quarters. Liverpool beat Arsenal in the QF last season before being knocked out by Chelsea in the semis.
  20. I can see us beating Hull this weekend and Boro at home and gaining a couple of draws in the final two games of the season Fulham (H) & Villa (A). I think we'll lose the rest though and will plummet down as a result
  21. Awesome... What chance you can knock one up exactly the same with the previous badge (the one we use on here)?
  22. likewise - i did try gettyimages but they don't seem to go back too far.
  23. Definitely not the first time he's heard that tbh. Tom, you're fucking priceless at times....
  24. While we're on the subject of photographs of SJP, this one is fucking awesome IMO
  25. Probably was the 1-3 home defeat in 1985-86. According to Soccerbase, it's the only time we lost at home to them in the 80s.
