They seem to forget that all they hold is the name of the formula - they hold no jurisdiction on the drivers and teams who enter it and who could walk away into their own formulae (which wouldn't involve them paying astonomical amounts to the FIA) any time they liked.

There's a report doing the rounds today that suggests that we've built no contigency into any of the players contracts in the event of relegation - i.e. if we go down, a reduction in any players wages will have to be negotiated and cannot be applied automatically. You know what? I wouldn't be in the least bit suprised if that was true - for too long now, the person who's been responsible for negotiating player contracts at SJP has wanted fucking shooting. I expected two losses like, but i think a lot of people thought we would get something against Arsenal for some reason.
