Am I the only who truly believes that a consortium of people on here could seriously have a done a considerably better job than those morons?

I use AVG 8.0 - I use Nero instead of Roxio though...

Oh yeah, totally get your drift. Thing is, I think the FIA have bought into that theory true which is the basis for the ridiculous change they've made and quickly rescinded. They seem to forget that all they hold is the name of the formula - they hold no jurisdiction on the drivers and teams who enter it and who could walk away into their own formulae (which wouldn't involve them paying astonomical amounts to the FIA) any time they liked.

Medic!! We got another one!

Do the words Fracture du Tibia mean nothing to you!?!? The still on the front of the vid kinda gives it away Really?

There's a report doing the rounds today that suggests that we've built no contigency into any of the players contracts in the event of relegation - i.e. if we go down, a reduction in any players wages will have to be negotiated and cannot be applied automatically. You know what? I wouldn't be in the least bit suprised if that was true - for too long now, the person who's been responsible for negotiating player contracts at SJP has wanted fucking shooting. And if it is true and we do go down, there's only two courses of action I can possible foresee: 1. Financial meltdown 2 A firesale Great

Fucking hell - needs a warning before viewing...

Jesus Stevie you need to work on your photoshop skills. FYP

I think most (ordinary) people who are fans of the sport would disagree with that, to be honest, even if the sport itself may feel that way... I wasn't talking about the fans of the sport tbh...

Official Match thread: Newcastle United Vs Arsenal
Craig replied to Jimbo's topic in Newcastle Forum
I never understood why Faye was allowed to leave. And I've never watched a match and thought that Colloccini had a stormer. He's one of the most over-rated players we have IMO. -
Nice..... will you be on duty to deal with him when he gets to hospital then?
-
Would have cost them money Alex... doesn't fit in with their "minimum input, maximum output" theory does it? Oh aye. I appreciate they were just being tight and hoped they'd get away with it. Talk about a false economy. The people running the club are so clueless it's untrue. Precisely why I question their motives. Surely they can't be this useless / clueless / shite by accident? Even McKeag made attempts to fund the club (summer of 1988 a good example).

Didn't they wear it at Coventry in the league cup?

In a nutshell. This scenario needs putting to Llambias and asking for comment. No doubt he'll blame the fans - the very same people whos money he is desperate for.

He's done it in less than 12 months too.. Mission accomplished IMO, there's no way this is just bad luck - i'm convinced there's an ulterior motive. I agree. I mean it, in all honesty, this isn't incompetence or even wilfull neglect, it has to be deliberate. Was it Sherlock Holmes who said words to the effect that when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth? Well, this is all I'm left with after this joke of a season. Who knows what the future holds for us. If say for example he was trying to wind up the club, can't see what he could gain from that, the land is owned by the council. I've been asking myself the same questions... but what if his motives are not financial? Could go completely left-field and suggest it's a bitter Spurs fan intent on destroying us...

I expected two losses like, but i think a lot of people thought we would get something against Arsenal for some reason. If we were going to get anything out of the two i'd go for a draw against Chelsea. I knew we would lose today but i was still very disappointed It's the other results that killed us. We all expected to lose but for Stoke and Pompey to win was wounding. It's indicative that they've got the fight in them and we don't.

If we go down we will be back up in a shot. Ashley will have to protect his money and the only way he will be able to do it is by investing. Sunderland do it every other year man, piece of piss. Fucking hell, I take it you two are two young to remember the last time we dipped into the second division. I remember thinking the same - "oh well, we'll win every game and come straight back up.." It's soul destroying to see you lose comprehensively to a team in the second tier - trust me.

Well, this is all I'm left with after this joke of a season. Who knows what the future holds for us. It's a bloody expensive practical joke ! By buying out the loans, he's protected his investment. No matter how little the value of Newcastle United Football Club becomes, the amount it owes Michael Ashley will not change.

He gets sentenced on Thursday apparently. Now doesn't have the excuse of a terminally ill wife to keep him out of jail. He'll get day release for her funeral if the judge is feeling generous.

It already is two championships! The problem with most people who are critical of the sport is that the don't appreciate which championship takes precedence. The driver's championship is secondary and always will be.
-
It's never been a sport. It was a forumlae created for rich aristocrats to spend their wealth on fast cars. The whole money-saving scheme thing is bollocks - it was always a machine to spunk as much cash as possible on raw speed.

They'll probably hold it on a Sunday I'm trying to work out how she's been so 'inspirational'. IMO she's done 2 things in her life of note: 1. Set her sons up for life by exploiting her own shortcomings. 2. Highlighted the dangers of cervical cancer (although to be blunt she's neither done that knowingly nor through her own decision). It's sad that a Mum of 2 young kids has died before the age of 30 but the media scrum is fucking ridiculous.
