I heard that and then in the next report they claim she's going to have a very public funeral on a scale not seen since Diana popped her clogs. Whilst I have every sympathy for the family, they're taking the piss a bit. I thought the outcry at Diana's funeral was a million miles over the top even though that was for the mother of the future king. Lets remember one of the races that Massa won he won because of the FIA and their ridiculous application of the 'rules'. If they wanted wins to carry more weight they should go back to the 'best 9 results in a season' system. FYP Complete lunacy and totally contradicts what they've said in the past (the reason they went to 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 from 10-6-4-3-2-1 was so they could avoid the driver's championship being concluded midway through a season. Smacks of Bernie being at fault more than Max IMO - he was desperate to get the Gold, Silver & Bronze farce in and when that failed, this became the natural replacement! They've just had the most gripping finish to a WDC ever and, had they applied these new rules last season, the championship would have been over when Massa crossed the line NOT Hamilton. Total and utter farce! Sorry to say this Dr Ken but I doubt this change would have been drafted in if it had been a Ferrari which had won it by the skin of their teeth.
