The whole league will see it as a cup final and will undoubtedly raise their game. I honestly don't think any club will "fear" us next season. They've nothing to lose either way! The more i think about this the more suspicious it seems - why announce this at all - surely a deal could have been done on the qt behind closed doors - talks could have taken place then a quick announcement and see you later mike - this smacks of the garden path that we have been led down before.
