It's like a breath of fresh air when you remember the amount of times Bellamy got caught offside because he couldn't time his runs.

Grimsby v Newcastle.

I think if Sting knew he was onto a winner he'd have sang it himself...obviously he knew better.
-
Even when we were flying under Robson, our problem was you would have struggled to see which of our players would fit in at Man U, Arsenal, etc. Now however, I think we have a core of players (Given, Boumsong (at his best), Parker, Emre, Luque & Owen), who'd not look out of place at Arsenal & Man U. (I'm not including Chelsea because they're an abnormality).

Robin Pires' team-mate.

I've also noticed that the caption for Gazza was "Paul Gascoigne waves to fans". That was from the Beardo testimonial and he was pointing 9 fingers to the Celtic fans referring to Rangers' 9 titles in a row!

Except, of course, as recent as last week. http://www.sportinglife.com/football/cups/...CER_Bolton.html

(says the one with Pedro rather than Peter as his username)

I'd also play Shola on the right and put Bowyer alongside Parker in the middle.

What's SmogGeordie doing next to N'Zogbia?
-
You can take the 'even' out of that sentence imo 37530 Nah, they're in the side now and they look as if they'll get them enough goals to stay up just about. Of their 5 goals, Lua-Lua has scored 1, Robert's scored 1, and made the other 3. Lose them, and they're no-one (although Silva was a helluva signing IMO).

Now available for download.

Don't get it?
-
If anything happens to Lua Lua & Robert, Portsmouth are doomed. It'll be hard enough for them even with them in the side.

When I was in France there was a documentary on Hitler saying how he wanted to invade Paris without force as he loved the city and wanted to use that as the capital of his own super power. The Israeli who I was watching it (who's also Jewish), popped up with, "Oh, so he was a kind man afterall".

There's a full page photo in the Chronicle tonight.

That was a deliberate mistake wasn't it Matt.

"N'Zogbia" - (to the tune of Oasis' Lyla "Roll left foot over the ball, Knock it past Friedel's despairing hand. Blackburn nil, Newcastle three. Hear the Toon Army rocking the stand. He believes in everything, And everyone on both banks of the Tyne We've no cups for 36 years For you to come, and now will our time. N'Zogbia! He's our star on the ball. It's Charlie N'Zogbia. The world is at your feet, so stand tall N'Zogbia. You could be the best winger of all! He's the best teen that I've seen In every town and city far and near Making life for right-backs hell, He whips one in for Owen or Shearer N'Zogbia! He's our star on the ball. It's Charlie N'Zogbia. The world is at your feet, so stand tall N'Zogbia. You could be the best winger of all!

Looks like the pond is too big for him. Bet he wishes he could get back into the secure confines of his goldfish bowl. -
Newcastle to finish 6th with Souness, 4th without. Sunderland, Wigan & WBA to go down.
-
Well they've hit the woodwork 7 times in the last two games. No doubt on Saturday they'll clip the inside and go in.
-
I see they are talking about JJ being the invisible man again tonight.. 36305 Saying he lacks balance and looks like Bambi 36307 Did we give them Shola instead?

1 more piece to the jigsaw in our team..

Is Babayaro, Carr, Taylor & Boumsong worse than Bernard, Hughes, Bramble & O'Brien? And I'd say the front 6 is stronger than the side that finished top 5.
