  1. The Giro was epic this year. Felt for Del Toro because he really deserved it and seemed his team never fancied him and then fucked up tactically big style. But it was so exciting when Yates went away on the penultimate stage You're right of course. Much more interesting when you don't know whose strongest. Del Toro cracking then coming back the next day. Carapaz looking like the strongest then Yates sneaking it Great stuff
  2. I know it's probably wrong, but I love watching Pogacar. Much prefer him to Vingegaard He's just so much fun. Based on nothing I reckon they are all on the same sort of preparation these days, I'm not as obsessed by it as I was in the Armstrong days I'm quite enjoying the Pog, Vingegaard, Remco, Roglic era
  3. It's not about making Isreal safe, it's all about keeping Netanyahu in power. Same as the whole build up to and response to Oct 7
  4. Probably for the best, especially as I've already go a few on board Bought a new suitcase, wife fucked the combination up, had to bolt cutter the lock off. Great start I did manage to retain my calm, but it did mean I had to sink a few in fast order Not her fault obviously
  5. I'm going to Croatia in 5 hours, taxi booked for 3am Try for a couple of hours sleep or stay up all night drinking. Tricky choice
  6. Not on the TV for good reason, like Man City the sky/tnt bods reckon these games are a foregone conclusion, and they want show the misery of teams missing out If they thought there was a chance of showing crying Geordies they'd be all over it
  7. Still want City to score though cos fuck Palace
  8. In years gone by Liverpool Football Club winning the league, Sunlun getting promoted, ManU or Spurs spawning the CL and Palace winning the FAcup would have left me Wykiki levels of furious. These days I'm unbothered We've won a trophy and look set fair for CL, I find the fury has gone somewhat
  9. We're not at the bottom of the table any more lads, it's all about keeping winning these days. You can't rely on other teams dropping points, you have to earn it The good news is the team are now mentality monsters, they'll be going in with no fear tomorrow against lego-heads arse dropping southern fannies
  10. Starmer actually wrote the words "immigration has caused incalculable damage" I have nothing to add but sinking depression
  11. Any Osees fans here ( oh sees OCS thee oh Sees, etc) Been wanting to see them for years now coming to Brighton next month Should be a loud night
  12. Sell them the stadium for 200 million quid. PSR solved
  13. He was straight over to Tonali looking delighted as the first goal went in. Carrying a knock/no rest seems the likeliest thing Arsenal defence are his bitches so only needs to at 50% this weekend
  14. Liverpool didn't open contract negotiations with him with 2 years remaining on his contract like they had always done and he was expecting By the time they got round to talking to him his head had been turned
  15. I refused to look at the scores from half time onwards
  16. You'd like to think so but we voted for Brexit, and we gave Johnson a massive majority I was thinking about Labour's achievements earlier. The welfare state and the NHS obviously Even Blair and Brown brought in the minimum wage, huge things for the benefit of the working class This lot don't deserve to call themselves Labour
  17. As far as I can see there is absolutely zero difference between the economic policies of Labour and the Cameron/Osborne government The only point of difference is Cameron and Osbourne admit Brexit is a disaster
  18. Bobby Mitchell, Tommy Walker, Charlie Crowe, George Robledo and Jackie Milburn.
  19. I reckon this Yamal kid might be a good young option to understudy Murphy for a couple of years
  20. I'll tell you what if I have start watching Newcastle playing in games like this I'm not going to make 70
