Brighton made plenty of changes, and still created more chances than Everton did. Everton were passive and sat deeper than the hole you'd need to dig to hide all of Fat Sam's dodgy deals. Pickford played well and Steele did not. Despite Allardyce's proclamations, he's doesn't know more than Guardiola, Klopp, Arteta etc. He knows one thing "get it in the mixer", it's not some kind of progressive, creative answer to how to be successful at football, but it will get you out of the shit more often than not. A different permutation of remaining fixtures and Allardyce would take Everton down.

They'll stay up. Leicester and Leeds to go down, I reckon. Brighton are officially enemies of Football.

Haven't read the thread but; We played well, just one of those games of fine margins. Hit the woodwork a couple of times, Ramsdale played well. Unlucky with the own goal. We missed Longstaff for his combination with Bruno and his defensive work. Bruno looks like he's carrying a knock Play like that for the rest of the season and we could go unbeaten. Still think CL is ours. It's nice to be in a position where we have to play below par and good teams have to play well to beat us.

Played 12:30 twice, lost both. One was Man City, the other Villa.

1.26ppg in the PL. That form would put Leeds on 35pts, surely enough to survive at the expense of Everton?

They've scored 1 more goal than us and we've been without our main threats throughout the season. They're way better than before, but they're still wasteful.

This window is going to be mad. Chelsea are a mess, they'll need to sell a stack of players just to address their FFP issues Liverpool need an overhaul, their midfield is decrepit and their defence is looking more and more shaky. Man City and Arsenal will want to strengthen, right? Man Utd will want to shift some deadwood and replace them Spurs will likely lose Kane and need to make him up in the aggregate We'll be busy, surely Whichever 'big' clubs survive will surely do some business too.

You wouldn't? I would. No way are they beating the top 3 sides. They still have an issue putting the ball int he back of the net and Newcastle and Man City currently aren't finding that a tremendous challenge. Arsenal... who knows, they can't be thinking about shooting practise because they're too busy sitting by a rainy window listening to the Dawson's Creek soundtrack. Oh, and Southampton are terrible.
