How dense do you think barstaff are? Also, the bar is designed so that you can fill it's length (oo-errr) and get served quickly by one of several barstaff instead of waiting until the person in front of you is finished with their order. It's way WAY more efficient than queueing up. Individual queues create bottle necks, they eat up space in the bar, they stop barstaff multitasking etc.

It isn't though. Team A has 4 goes at getting the ball into the zone marked out at the end of the field. Team B wants that not to happen. If Team A moves the ball forward 10yds+, the 4 count gets reset and they start again. If Team B stop them, then they get the ball. The average "play" has got to be only about 5 seconds before the clock stops, then they stand around for about 30 seconds of slapping each others' botbots and then line up for another go.
