Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER
The Fish replied to Sonatine's topic in Newcastle Forum
To be fair, it's a safe bet that the top four will be the usual suspects. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City in some order. I blame you for clicking on a link that was 100% going to wind you up. -
The only reason he's at Forest is because of PSR. No way would he have been sold otherwise. Ditto Minteh.

Cunha and Mbeumo looked good, but I expected them to. They're decent players, on their home debut, against a big side. If they couldn't get motivated for that game they should just turn it all in. Let's see how good they look after a few more games without finding the back of the net, or being starved of decent service. Other people had said it but, Man Utd's biggest issues were; CF, CM, CB and GK. They have maybe answered one of those asks with Sesko. But without a dogged defensive midfielder they'll be easy to play through, without a commanding CB they'll give up too many opportunities in the box and without a competent 'keeper they'll concede soft goals. Sign Mbeumo, but spend the other £140m on those 3 positions and they'd be in a much better position. In my slightly sozzled opinion

Not a shot on target this second half. The Premier League Top 6 is back, baby!
-
My secret hope; Osula bags 10 goals a season, give or take, for the next 4-5 seasons at Newcastle. Always doing enough to stay in the squad, becoming a real cult hero in the process. Like a natural successor to Ameobi. Imagine.

He's right as often as I am.

All they had to do was not buy Ekitike. That's it. Had we been the only horse in the race for Hugo, he's in a black and white shirt and Isak is wearing red. We'd probably already have got another striker in as well. Now, I not only hope that we never sell him to them, I also hope Ekitike and Wirtz are massive flops
-
Maybe he can pay for Gayle to have his spine realigned after Mitrovic tried to rip his head clean off

Took the lad to the Atletico Madrid game. Despite the shit football and the flatmosphere he enjoyed himself. Typical coincidence that the family we were sat beside were from about a mile down the road from our house. Shame he didn't get to see a goal, mind.
-
I mean that's all clearly bollocks. If you only opened your mind and didn't blindly follow what you been taught you'd see that there's only one logical explanation: Denpressure.
-
That's the problem, I think. Were he regularly getting minutes, you'd see more from him, I'm sure.

It's a squad game, isn't it? Liverpool will not only be taking part in 4 competitions, their aim will be to win each one. So they'll be going deeper in the cups and the CL, putting greater strain on their players and needing more cover for injuries, suspensions, fatigue or just variation. Beggars belief that if they wanted arguably the best striker on the planet all they had to do was wait until we signed Ekitike and our hand is significantly weakened. We have our replacement, we need some money, and we would still have sufficient time in the window to line up a replacement like Sesko, Delap, or whomever. That way, everyone's happy. That kind of negotiation also opens the door for mutually beneficial transfers in the future.

For the lols

Really? I think Miley is already the better technician and certainly has developed the physical side of his game since his debut. For me, Miley is our 4th choice CM. I'd love replacements for both Longstaff and Willock, and were the owners/exec board on their game we should have had them in the youth teams already.
-
If only Liverpool hadn't acted the cunt we could have Ekitike, and Elliot while they have Isak.
-
Nobody in them, but the shirts will be there. Retro ones too. OoOOOoOOooooh, you all like those don't you? Nostalgia and memories and all that. Just £120 and you can have a low quality recreation of them. Also, pay up for membership. Oh and Buy some more trainers.
-
Confusion he say:
-
He played 1,217 minutes last season, 20% coming in the EFL Cup. He could be replaced by Miley who only managed 550 minutes last season.
-
Head turned? No, but if he's fed up here I could see him looking for another challenge elsewhere and the Dutch... they're just cool aren't they.
-
I can see him going abroad, specifically to a Bundesliga or Eredivisie club. I could also see him going to Spurs.
