  1. Aye the next two eps start to see a bit happening. I quite like what the've done with Arya and Jaquen. I think it's a wise move for the non book reader to bring him in (or at least make it's clear it's him). Not sure and Jamie and Bronn. We'll have to see how that plays out.
  2. I would Pardew is a shit manager. Whereas Carver isn't a manager at all.
  3. Got to say that I didn't expect more than 5K to boycott but the photos certainly suggest there was a lot more than that not there. My Dad went so I'll ask him later how many he think it actually was. The TV pictures certainly seemed to show less empty seats than some of the photos that have been on twitter. Of course you don't know when those photos were taken. If some of them were near the end it's reasonable to think some of seats were abandoned by then. Definitely think it's a positive start.
  4. I'm not going. I'm not sure if we'll be going to the protest (I hope the lads will go for it) but the time has definitely come to make some sort of stand.
  5. Unfortunately the one source that would have the biggest impact are so far up Ashleys fat fucking arse that they won't get behind it!
  6. There is no team in the league you'd rather play than us at the minute like. We've comfortably been one of the worst five teams in the league this season but we're not in any real danger of relegation so we don't have the fight the teams below us have (not sure we would if we were right in the mix either). We're a dream for any team looking for points.
  7. It's one of the best comedy's there's been on in years. How they get Devito to do some of the things he does is beyond me.
  8. I think both of those potential teams look fucking awful tbh. You've just convinced me to boycott.
  9. Probably. Playing Anita in midfeild would be almost as stupid as starting SDJ given that he's fucking hopeless there but I don't think either of those scenarios are out of the question while Bo Selecta's picking the team.
  10. You overestimate Carver's intelligence then!
  11. If that happened (it won't because that would take him thinking of the football team as point of the business rather than as a vehicle to support SD)I would be happy with that status and impressed that he'd changed his attitude from what it's been up to now. But I still wouldn't forgive him for being the utter cunt that he's been up to now.
  12. Given that Carver has learned so much from Pardew I'd expect SDJ to start. Personally I think it woudl be rank stupidity to rush him back at this stage. As ewerk says it's risk of him picking up another strain or something when his bodys not ready.
  13. The club should be applauded for maintaning a consistent approach throughout all levels!
  14. There's no chance I will ever forgive him. He has made the club into a laughing stock and continuously pissed on us and our history. He will never put any money into the club so the only things he could possibly do to appease me at all will never be done. I hope SD goes tits up and he has to sell us off cheap to try (and fail) to save them. I then hope after he's lost his own personal fortune he has to go and work somewhere on a zero hour contract.
  15. This tbh. I'm still not sure whether we can actually achieve anything but I know that the more apathetic Ashley makes us, the better it is for him. One thing is certain, if we do nothing, nothing will improve.
  16. Reminds me of when I was watching Road House in my teens when me dad walked in just at the scene when one of the bouncers was fucking a lass over a barrel in the store room. He had a go at me for watching porn which was ironic given the numerous german films he had (poorly) hidden in the garage!
  17. Had Jordan and Anderson not made a bit of a fist of it at the end it would have looked like a really piss poor score. Broad at one point was looking like he was almost an all rounder. Now he might as well be coming in behind Anderson. At least the bowling was a bit better.
  18. Aye I think that could well be the case. I get the feeling that they would only be interested in leaving for a bigger club and I really can't see any of them being interested.
  19. My mate told me last night that it was fitness issues that apparently lead to Bristol letting him go. I've not seen this mentioned anywhere but it does seem to offer an explanation for why they would let someone with such obvious potential go.
  20. I'm now at the point that while I don't think it will make him leave all of a sudden, something needs to be done even if it is futile. What we need is more ex players standing up for it to get more of the fans in on it. More shit from the club like dumping photos of club heroes might help that.
  21. That seems light to me. Sissoko has a good (if undeserved) reputation. If he goes it will be for more than £10m. I would guess £7m-£8m for Krul.
  22. I think you're massively optimistic to think Janmaat will still be here next season. If he's got any sense at all he'll be desperate to get away and I would think he wouldn't be short of options. His former international boss isn't fantastically stocked in his position for a start.
  23. Is anyone on here boycotting? I'm definitely edging futher and further towards it every day.
