Is anyone on here boycotting? I'm definitely edging futher and further towards it every day.

We definitely haven't been any better than the tramps, Burnley, QPR, Hull or Leicester for the majority of the season and if it hadn't been for that run in November we would be right in the relegation mix. As it is I think we probably have just about enough points already and I do think it's likely that we will pick up a few more points (not many like) before the season ends. Saying that we put in a better performance and if we did that against lesser teams we'd win games is pointless imo. I'm sure QPR supporters think that about how they played against Chelski and the tramps will have thought that when they stopped Chelski scoring too. It doesn't work in practice though. The teams down the bottom are there for a reason, they just don't play well enough and don't pick up enough points. They always manage to raise their games and put in a battling performance against the top teams but don't have the quality to come out and perform against the lesser teams. It's easier to play backs to the wall than it is to try and dominate a team.

Trott out for a duck and Cook for 11. Another great start!

It needs setting up with the programs you need first. The lad I got mine off set it all up for me first but one of the blokes at work got one off amazon and his son set it all up for him. Said it took a couple of hours.

I never said anything you hadn't already posted man Anyway I did actually try to put a spoiller on my first reply but it didn't work so I just gave up.

I've got an android box so I just watch it from that. But I used to use kickass.
-
I've not watched all the 4th one yet but yeah that's pretty much my take on it too. What was missing or changed provided more interest than the actual first couple of episodes.
-
Yeah the've just jumped over where Tyrion meets Griff so I assume he's not going to appear at all in the show. Which might tie in with a widely held theory of that character or might just be the show dealing with too many characters in the books and them having to make the decision to just go their own way with it now that there's basically no chance GRRM will finish the books before they finish the show. Although he has said that he's going all out to get the Winds of Winter released before season 6 of GOT.

Yeah I'm not a massive fan of the all the kingsmoot stuff (or rather it just goes on a bit long) but Victarion in particular seems to be a big part of what's to come. Likewise some of the other characters that they don't seem to be bothering with in the new season. They've done something Arya that I think is a good idea for the show though.
-
First 4 episodes of the new season have leaked if you want blast through them rather than waiting. The departures from the books are getting wider and wider now. Point of view characters and whole story arcs seem to be getting ignored. At least it means if you've read the books there's still a bit of mystery as to what will actually happen this season but it's a twat if you're a fan of the Iron Islands.

Could sit here watching that all day.

Oh me of little faith. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-supporters-launch-campaign-9010127

I saw someone yesterday tweet Mark Douglas about it and he said he'd been away for a few days and would be on to it now he's back. I have much more respect for him than Ryder (I have more respect for Nazi Germany than Ryder) but I suspect there'll be very little coming from Thompson House about it.
-
Most (if not all) of the people I've spoke to about this know nothing about it btw. I think most people who don't frequent Newcastle message boards or follow Newcastle accounts on Twitter will be pretty oblivious to this whole thing. So many of our supporters rely on the Chronicle or SSN for their information about the club and I don't think it's much or any coverage there.
-
I agree that's why I'm in favour of everyone joining in. Even if it results in nothing I think it would be a great message to send.

I don't expect it to have any success in that area either. He's here to do what he wants to do not what we want him (even in the relatively modest way you suggest) to do.

I had toncilitus last year while the winter olympics were on and I don't think I could have dealt with Busch Gardens while I had it.
-
Good to hear, I'll stick with it then. I'm loving Better Call Saul by the way. I don't expect it to ever end up being as good as Breaking Bad ended up being but I think this first season has been better the first of BB.

The away game against The Great Unwashed

I've not been in the gound for kick off in the last couple of season other than Norwich last season when I got a freebie in a box so if there's loads outside by the time I turn up I can easily decide not to go in. A right twatting (which is likely) on Monday might help this gain momentum.

Whenever I've seen him against any level of opposition he's always looked like he has no time on the ball at all. The best players always seem to have all the time and space in the world and he's the exact opposite. He's obviously got a good left foot but he's either too slow or doesn't have the ability to find space that he would need to be a success in the premier league. As Alex says mabye somewhere like Italy would suit him better but I doubt he'll make it anywhere at any great level. The awful level of coaching here probably has as much to do with his lack of progress as any injuries or lack of natural ability has like.

Personally I'm undecided. I'm not really arsed about missing any match these days and if there is any significant boycott I'll be happy to take part. But I feel that even if half the ground was empty it would be nothing more than a gesture of discontent and I don't believe it will come close to make Ashley leave. He's here until he decides he's finished with us and I can't come up with anything that we could do that will make him move any quicker short of no one buying a ticket for any mathch until he's gone.

The willing bit I'm not sure about. It would have to be on his terms (ie cheap and willing to eat shit) but I'm sure he'd be happy to have someone better running the team. But I agree totally with the able bit.- 10610 replies

Anyone watached Justified? I've watched the first couple of episodes and quite enjoyed them but it also seems too much of a basic prodcedural to keep me entertained for long. I can see some of the characters have been in it for most of it's run though so I don't know if it develops into something more.
