I thought he did at first but starting feeling his way back into it by the end. Jonas was the only decent thing about the night (apart from the nice meal we went for before the match). The complete lack of any intent from us was fucking embarassing. That's easily the worst man utd team since the 80's and we just tried to contain them. I have no sympathy for us losing a ridiculous last minute goal or not getting the blatent penalty when that's the attitude we go out with. The goal actually barely raised any emotion in me at all I was so bored with the whole non event. You don't support Newcastle United expecting to win anything but you do expect to see us having a go. The more we don't bother doing that the more disconnected with the whole shite.

I was thinking that there would have been a time when I would have finished work early today and took a half day for tomorrow morning for this game. But now I'm no more interested than I am for any other game. Which is pretty much no interest in anything than a few pints before the match and strolling in five minutes after kick off. I reckon we'll get twatted and Rooney's bound to score.

I used to be of the opinion that Pardew dragged the players down (and tbh I do still believe that) but I certainly believe now that there's not enough of them who are good enough. Krul, Janmaat, Sissoko, Colback, Cabella, Perez, Cisse & SDJ are about the only ones who I'd be really bothered about keeping. That leaves us with some gaping holes in the squad that any manager would struggle with. I'm still quite certain Carver is clueless and we need someone considerably better. If he's appointed permanently I think we'll be right down the bottom of the table next season.

The Signal. Interesting little low key sci fi. -
Well he's only just taken over the job you know. It's not like he's been coaching us for years.....

It was a fucking dreadful game and I can't see Wednesday being any better (well from our point of view anyway it will be a lot worse). It was hard at the start of the season trying think it could get any worse than under Pardew but Carver is just about managing it. At least Colo looked at bit more awake this week!

The Secret Diary of Lee Ryder (aged 44 and a half)

Seriously, can he count past five? Some of the shite he gets in that paper (is that actually in the paper or just on the website?) is nothing better (in fact it's a lot worse) than countless blogs out there done by amateurs. -

I liked that he was pretty fucking useless but while it has some humour they never tried to turn it into a comedy. -

Blue Ruin. Possibly the best revenge film I've seen since Dead Mans Shoes. -
Same goes for anal sex!

I know, I felt bad about when I saw it. Tbh drunk tweeting is the only tweeting I've ever done. The only other time was to lay into Nile Ranger -

Surely better it be that than the shite he puts on twitter. He's nearly at leazes level of embarassment. I woke up on Sunday morning to find that I'd sent him a couple of abusive tweets on Saturday night. Ingnorant cunt hasn't replied so I'm guessing he won't be giving out his salary details on there for Stevie either. -

I'd be offended if it's that much! The bloke should be trying to get people to pay for some splash in a bog in the Bigg Market not being paid to come up with five (I assume that's as far as his can count) reason's why we should be rimming bo selecta until he's made permanent head coach. -

Doesn't even look like a very good premiership team that. Not sure where they're getting that defence from and there's probably as much chance of Sammy playing as there is Carrick. I'm planning on going over for it like but if that is our team I doubt I'll even bother trying to get tickets for any of our matches. -
I'm sure he was far impressed with his potential future crop of players and coaches!

Aye I stayed up for the rest of our innings and it was far from impressive. Ali was good and it was nice to see Morgan get a decent score but the rest weren't anything to write home about. Should have pushed Morgan up the order though.

Poor display from bell against this bowling. Hope Ballance shows a bit more intent or im off to bed.

Be interesting to see the knight ryders positive spin on this joke.

6 music festival at the academy was really good tonight. Wasnt a fan of sleater Kinney before tonight but they were excellent. Thought mogwai were something special too.

Absolutely pitiful. I woke up about half six and switched it on hoping to see the finish. Feared the worst when I saw they were already replaying it. Turned it off just after Taylor's wicket went, must have been a collapse of epic proportions even by our standards. I'm going to have to move on to Rugby Union here in my attempts to find an England team that I can have some pride in. Although three day eventing might be a better bet!

The ex used to watch Suits. Unlike most of the stuff she watched (TOWIE, Made In Chelsea, Hollyoaks etc) it didn't make me want to stick me foot through the telly but I never had any interest in watching it once we split. -

I went to a reasonable Chinese buffet up in Galashiels a few years ago. That was the only one I've ever been to that was remotely alright. The original Lau's on Stowell street and the one that used to be upstais in the gate (think it was where Nando's is now) were fucking horrendous.
