I don't see how anyone can defend that tackle. He should get a ban and I hope he's effected by it as much as Haidara is. The kids obviously a coward going in like that so no doubt he'll let it get on top of him and effect his performances when he is allowed to play again. Pathetic from their lot pulling out a load of photos of what look like bad tackles from our players (still say Tiotes wasn't bad but anything can look bad from a still image) as if we couldn't do that about their pathetic little club (covering your thousands of empty seats with banners to make you ikea stadium look less empty!) and every other club in the league. I hope even more that they go down now (I'm confident once they do they'll drop like a stone to match their general insignificant status) and make room for a club that actually interests people in their own town (it's a Town Ant, even the makems can get city status so you can tell how pitiful their place is!).

I think you have to realise that they were a good team that were far too quick for us. That led us to make mistakes (most notably and regularly from Tiote). We were poor with the ball at times too so it was a bit of them being good and bit of us in some areas being poor (similar areas as we were on Sunday). But we also had positives in the was we defended a lot of the time (particularly Saylor who was outstanding), and the way we kept at them. I think overall we just about deserved it. We had probably the best chances for Taylor at the start of the second half and the end of the first and the most of the play. But we certainly should be happy with putting out a team as good as they were. -

Dunno, Pardew said in his press conference yesterday that he hadn't trained and he was having a fitness test today but expected him to be available to play some part. -

I was more thinking about Toonpacks suggestion that all moneys from everywhere being split evenly among the teams. Apart from that I think there must surely be legal implications (companies have a right to make money so I can't see it going unchallenged if the SFA tell them they have to share everything they earn), you have to have a prize to play for. TV money should certainly be split evenly though. What you say about the crowds that the likes of Inverness get just goes to tell me what I've always believed. The league has too many teams up there. The attendances at every stadium other than Park Head and Ibrox are too low for any of the other teams to ever be able to make an impact. A few clubs need to merge to make bigger clubs that can actually compete. Obviously I realize that getting supporters to agree to this is almost impossible. Telling Dundee and Dundee United fans that need to all start supporting one club is no more likely to be accepted and telling us and the unwashed to do the same! -

Sky have him as fit? Shola hasn't trained all week so I would think it's unlikely he'll start. Can't wait for this tbh. Should be a good game! -

Aye that's right. Apparently he said it with a straight face too! Just before we were due to play them I think. Can't imagine why!

Surely every club has a right to earn money and improve themselves through success though? If you split everything where would that come from. There has to be some element of prize money left in. -
I suppose that happens more now with the amount of foreign players coming over. All you really have to go off is stats for most of them. It's then been taken on for players who are already here too. Benteke's stats are good but whenever I've seen him he rarely even looks comfortable on the ball.

John Grant's new one Pale Green Ghosts. I loved Queen of Denmark so my expectations are high!

If Taylor and Mbiwa carry on in this same way it would be very harsh to drop either of them. Of course Taylor has played a few games in a row now so he's due another injury!

Wasn't Warnock the manager who got the best out of Taraabt in the Champtionship? People have been saying for years that he's only young and he'll develop yet he never seems to have. I agree he's an extremely talented player but I think he's going to be one of those talents who never develop an all round game to match the skill. I agree about Benteke though.

I don't buy that there's any conspiracy here but I'm quite sure we've agreed to let him go in the summer. I would like to think we'll not just let him walk away for nothing though. He signed a contract (apparently when whatever problems he had already existed) so if he won't fulfill it we should make him pay the price. I still think he's never looked like he's done anything other than his best for us when he's played so I do hope that he's back before the end of the season and says a proper goodbye.
